It's stored in the garage at all times under a cover,then about an hour before I start it I put a small electric heater blowing on the engine to aid in easyer starts,I do this if its bellow 30 or so.

Terri,I would have to say I would rather not find it at all then in parts,sounds strange but yea I would be less pissed,kinda like a slap in the face just a pile of parts!

No smoke at all,I let it run a minimum of 10 mins before I start on my way in the cold.prob just wasting fuel but I feel better doing so,I was just thinking it should be almost as tight when cold but there is a noticeable differance.plus my vent never blows oil only some watery looking stuff

I should have wrote that different,I mean when the engine is hot the compression is more then when cold,I feel a lot more resistance 150cc

When I turn over the kick starter when the bike is cold,there is resistance,not a crazy amount but you can feel it,when I ride for a bit the kick starter is very hard when it's on the compression stroke,why is this?

So ever since I bought my scooter new it has had an issue with pissing out oil particularly at high rpm,I could not figure out what was going on,then finally I checked the vent hose running off the valve cover,it goes from the rocker cover to to some tiny t-fitting to the cvt vent,then up to the air box.the hose was not blocked just to small and poorly routed from china.so I went to the auto parts store and bought a larger diameter hose and a breather all for about $12.00,and guess what, no oil leaks.every where I read said mount the hose p high but I have it right on the cvt cover with no issues yet,so far it's just blowing air and some water (looks like anyway).so I figure if I keep the breather cleaned all should be well. I have it on my iPhone with atat,it's free with my data plan 20gb a month,I can connect up to five devices,it's fast to I have my bluray player connected watching Netflix in HD,you can do it for free on any device if its hacked or jail broken for free.

Hello all,I'm going to order a free flowing air filter for my 150cc,what size main jet should I use,or a good starting point at least? It's stock now and I don't have any signs of running lean except for some small backfiring if I'm at max rpm then snap the throttle shut rapidly,but I am assuming that's due to my aftermarket exhaust.thanks in advance for any input!

I was thinking it was for a 50cc maybe.it looked identical just a little smaller.kinda sucks I can't return it,so is the p a rare engine or an old design?

Ok my 150 is a 1p57qmj I have asked this before on the old forum but not a lot of responses,the only thing I can find for sure is the head is taller,when looking for parts do I have to specify this engine?im asking cause I ordered a chrome fan cover from ebay and it did not fit.is there any other difference? There is not a lot of info out there about it that I can find,I don't know if its an oddball engine or what.

mine did the same thing,it was the vent on my gas tank that was plugged, if the spark plug cap was loose it would prob not just cut out,it would more then likely just misfire.

When I ride my scooter for a bit then stop it and check the oil,I can look down the oil fill hole and watch the oil level go up and down,it will drop to the low mark then rise up as high as the top full mark,so I popped off the hose on the valve cover vent that goes to the air box and it rose up and stayed there,then I plugged the vent with my finger and it dropped back down ( the oil) what is going on?the vent hose goes into some elbo thing to some vent on the cvt cover then up to the air box,where is the best way to vent the valve cover?cani just bypass the other crap and run it right up somewhere under the seat? I have an oil leak to at wot I think something is not venting correctly

I had a 80cc elite and mine would do what you discribed,it's been a while but if I remember correctly the air filter housing cover was not seated properly so I tightened it down evenly and it ran like a champ, I could hold it at wot all day it would hit 47 no problem

It got quit a bit worse after I took the front wheel off,but the speedo unit only goes on one way so I'm not how I could have screwed it up
