I'll get a photo up in a bit,it's pretty slick, plus I can use the GPS as well,I used 3m double sided tape, worked well,it's the outdoor kind.only thing is the otterbox with the belt holster is like 60 bucks but it offers a lot of protection.i thought it would be neat to somehow modify the instrument cluster to actually place the phone in there and totally get rid of the stock speedo.i also noticed its progressively getting worse, used to be only 5mph off now its more then 10mph off! Has this happened to anyone else?

Ok my scooter is a bone stock 150cc china scoot with the exemption of a cheap straight through "performance" muffler. I can get her up to a respectable 55mph that's on a level surface no headwind.at that speed I'm at 7100 rpm according to didgit tach,so I think there is more room for better top speed,so my question is.... And before I asked this I have researched this a lot with mixed opinions,so if I want some more top end do I get lighter roller weights to allow the engine to spin up to more rpm thus a few more mph? Will I loose lower end torq, this is where I'm confused some say you will others say you won't loose lower end by going lighter,of I do go lighter what's a good starting point? And if I'm going to mess with the weights would it be easier to just get an upgraded variator, they seem fairly cheep. Attachments:

That's the problem I cranked on it,all I could picture is the wheel popping off going 55 mph!

My front wheel on my 150 peace sports is hung up a little,I noticed that I can only spin the front wheel about one turn by hand before it stops,I disassembled the hole front wheel assembly and both wheel bearings felt smooth, the front brake pads I don't think are dragging (if they are how do adjust them?) it's a disk brake btw.i think the front axle nut is to tight cause when I initially took it apart I noticed the wheel was a little better as I loosened the nut.the only thing that felt kind tight was the speedo gear unit, witch I would like to ditch as the speedometer is absolutely useless anyway,I just bought a otterbox for my IPhone 4S and mounted the belt holster to the scoot with a GPS speed app that's much more accurate anyway.any thoughts if its not the bearings?

Hello everyone,I was a member on the SD forum as well and learned a lot of new stuff regarding scoots and look forward to the same wealth of knowledge and friendly people! For me scootering is more of a hobby then means of transportation,it's a Chinese scoot so obviously I enjoy tinkering.cant wait for spring time I took this photo while it was 20 degrees out I had just washed and waxed it.
