So here's the deal I was not working steadily this winter due to medical issues,so I had to pawn my 150cc for 600 bucks to avoid a power disconnect, power is paid all is well, but its 675 to get my baby out of pawn,I would really like to leave it there and upgrade to a 250cc I really want the roketa Bali 250cc, I found it online for 1499,doese any one own that scoot or have any insight? I have learned a lot over the past year about Chinese scoots and I would feel very comfotable getting another, and well I'm on that topic I feel they get a bad rap from people who are unable to work on them and or abuse them,I work 30mi from home and have never been stranded once!! Also any online dealers you guys trust? Thanks alot.edit....I forgot to ask,as I stated I'm 30 miles from work all interstate, can those maintain 65-70mph for that distance, the website says top speed is ,but the roketa page says 68.5mph

Cause I'm very wealthy and can afford to order things just for fun ,Joking, can I use my stock torque spring with it? Yeah I prob should have researched it more 4300 seems high for daily use,my stock clutch shoes are worn out,I figured why not spend a little more and get aftermarket.any one else have that set up? How's it work?

I just bought this kit,the seller said it comes with 2000 rpm clutch springs installed what's that mean? Will it engage at 2000? Cause my stock set up engages at 2300 or so, Attachments:

I have had my scoot for almost a year and for the first time I got stuck riding in the rain!,had to ride about 2-3 miles in it (sucked) this is prob common knowledge to most of you but the wet weather made it very apparent how cheaply made this thing is,now it ran like a champ, through the heavy rain and as soon as I got to work I parked it indoors (I work at an aoutomotive service center) I blew it off with compressed air and noticed water had worked its way behind the headlight housing! There must be very little of any weather proofing. I thought for sure this beast would not start but it did! Not only that but I rode it 30 miles back home with no issues!has anyone else regularly rode in the rain with no ill affects? I always see threads like "left scoot out in the rain now it won't start" what's up with that?

I have just over 1900 miles on my 150,most of which was put on it the winter months! I change oil every 500mi at most,I think the oil would be good for a few thousand miles if these gy6 motors had an oil filter.I change it so soon to eliminate as much debris as possible, every time I drain it the oil looks new,so I'm sure it still has all its lubricating properties.

Mine did the same thing when new, turns out the fuel sending unit was not twisted tight, just put a screw driver on one of the tabs and whack it til it's tight,

Well my top speed on a flat is 57-58 according to my gps,and my rpms are at 7340,so 8k might be a tad high, that's with 14 gram rollers,

The past few days my scooter when taking off from a dead stop is very rough,a lot of vibration,I usually take off slow, but I noticed if I give it more gas when taking off the vibration is almost gone.i have a newer gates belt and Koso variator I just had the cvt taken apart and I removed the clutch bell and sanded the pads and the inside of the bell, then about a week later the viberation started, what's up? It's the stock clutch with about 1800 mi,I suspect that's the issue?

My gas tank (above carb mounted) is about 1.25 gallons, when it gets to .25 gallons or so it bogs down, won't reach decent rpms, and all around runs like crap, what gives? I assumed it would run consistent until empty? It did it today with me and my wife on it where cruising at 45 mph for a few miles then when I went to go faster it bogged down and would not eccelerate! Is this normal? I filled it up with has and all was good.
