So here's the deal I was not working steadily this winter due to medical issues,so I had to pawn my 150cc for 600 bucks to avoid a power disconnect, power is paid all is well, but its 675 to get my baby out of pawn,I would really like to leave it there and upgrade to a 250cc I really want the roketa Bali 250cc, I found it online for 1499,doese any one own that scoot or have any insight? I have learned a lot over the past year about Chinese scoots and I would feel very comfotable getting another, and well I'm on that topic I feel they get a bad rap from people who are unable to work on them and or abuse them,I work 30mi from home and have never been stranded once!! Also any online dealers you guys trust? Thanks alot.edit....I forgot to ask,as I stated I'm 30 miles from work all interstate, can those maintain 65-70mph for that distance, the website says top speed is ,but the roketa page says 68.5mph

My advice is to check out used 260 and 300 Linhais. Better quality and about the same price.

Once you hit 70 mph its really pushing the engine. You can go 68 easy on the interstate but I would stay in the far right lane. I would get a 257cc roketa or the Linhai 257cc. Your getting the best gas mileage and peak speed.
I have the Roketa MC-54-250b . The Roketa Bali has a different front end to my Roketa MC-54. Both have the same engine 257cc works great and is amazing ride. Check my mods for upgrades in show your scooter thread.

I have a JCL 250A with the linhai 257 cc engine . it will do 80 mph but that is really pushing it , it cruises at between 60 and 70 with a good feel for the road . I had this bile for 2 years and the only problem i had with ir was the valve stems blowing out and a new battery this past winter. I think it has been a great ride and would recommend it .

I have owned this Bali 250 new, in 2008. 6700 miles on it now, still runs great, and on the level it will do 68 mph, down hills maybe 75 to 80 mph. I take it out on 54 Expressway outside Jefferson City Missouri often and the speed limit is 70 mph. Cars and trucks probably think," What the.. Is that a scooter traveling 70 mph.. I want one"?.. It has the Honda Helix 244cc engine. The body style is that of a Honda Foresight 250.. The Honda Foresight was only sold in Europe and Asia.. You can look up Honda Foresight 250 under googles images.. I recently had it blown over by a thunderstorm. It done $259 in damage and the price to have someone repair it was another $300. So since it was fully covered under insurance, they wrote me a check for $309- $250 was my deductible. Broke the windshield, both mirrors, helmet cover, helmet sheet, back of dash, knocked ignition a inch out of place, broke reflector. Notice the mirror are diamond shaped now, led lights on windshield verses mirrors, there is an alarm on it now. The helmet cover I could only get in white, so I painted other areas white to blend it in.. Attachments:
