My front wheel on my 150 peace sports is hung up a little,I noticed that I can only spin the front wheel about one turn by hand before it stops,I disassembled the hole front wheel assembly and both wheel bearings felt smooth, the front brake pads I don't think are dragging (if they are how do adjust them?) it's a disk brake btw.i think the front axle nut is to tight cause when I initially took it apart I noticed the wheel was a little better as I loosened the nut.the only thing that felt kind tight was the speedo gear unit, witch I would like to ditch as the speedometer is absolutely useless anyway,I just bought a otterbox for my IPhone 4S and mounted the belt holster to the scoot with a GPS speed app that's much more accurate anyway.any thoughts if its not the bearings?

When putting that axle nut on just when its starting in tight (stop) don't over tighten it. Use some loctite on it (the blue).

That's the problem I cranked on it,all I could picture is the wheel popping off going 55 mph!

If that does not fix it, it may be just disk brake drav. Disk brakes always rub jut a little.

Some time back, I read on a harley board that wheel binding/drag when the axlenut is tightened would caused by excessive bearing preload due to the inner bearing spacer being too short. ( the one between the bearings ) Maybe it's supposed to be that way on Chinese scooters to have the quality be chinese scooter level... Not tightening the axle nut good and tight in order to allow the wheel to turn easily seems like dealing with an effect instead of fixing the cause. Personally, I prefer having the nuts that hold on wheels good and tight and finding excitement by means other than having wheels falling off.

Nate, how did you mount the holster? Is it a permanent or temporary? Would love to see a pic! Maybe start a thread on phone mounts! Sean

I'll get a photo up in a bit,it's pretty slick, plus I can use the GPS as well,I used 3m double sided tape, worked well,it's the outdoor kind.only thing is the otterbox with the belt holster is like 60 bucks but it offers a lot of protection.i thought it would be neat to somehow modify the instrument cluster to actually place the phone in there and totally get rid of the stock speedo.i also noticed its progressively getting worse, used to be only 5mph off now its more then 10mph off! Has this happened to anyone else?

It got quit a bit worse after I took the front wheel off,but the speedo unit only goes on one way so I'm not how I could have screwed it up
