Update, My scooter is sold. (this was not easy for me, I hope to buy another scooter in near future) so don't write me off, I'll be back, I just had an opportunity to buy another motorcycle (1981 650 Special Yamaha in mint condition).

So true, I'm selling my scooter and many just want to see how far you come down, had a few come and check it out, but did buy, that's ok, I've learned to stand my ground and not just give it away. I have way to much work

I travel the Interstates all the time, no big deal, I use my mirrors A lot  I wear green florescent vest, Helmet and gloves, boots and I'm always in my motorcycle safety mod  Search, Evaluate, and Execute. Anyone you ever took this course will know what I'm talking about, it has saved me many times |

Hey Kat, I glad your here and I have the respect for the non-Chinese scooters, I've done all my own work on Mc-54-250b Roketa scooter, and I do love her. but I thought too if I had the money I too would upgrade to probably Japanese scooter, I have a 1983 Yamaha XS650 Heritage Special motorcycle (Japanese) and love it, you can tell the quality is there  |

An easy way to check for this is to pull apart this connector (diode) and get a heavey wire and jump the two pins on the wiring harness side. if you get a charging voltage on the battery, then the diode is the culprit |
