Ok my 150 is a 1p57qmj I have asked this before on the old forum but not a lot of responses,the only thing I can find for sure is the head is taller,when looking for parts do I have to specify this engine?im asking cause I ordered a chrome fan cover from ebay and it did not fit.is there any other difference? There is not a lot of info out there about it that I can find,I don't know if its an oddball engine or what.

Boy I have seen comments about the "P" motors that said the only difference was a wider stud pattern for the barrel, comments about a taller head. I have seen comments that all parts will intercahnge on some of those motors.
I would almost bet you that that fan cover was kust not the right one for a 150.

I was thinking it was for a 50cc maybe.it looked identical just a little smaller.kinda sucks I can't return it,so is the p a rare engine or an old design?
