So ever since I bought my scooter new it has had an issue with pissing out oil particularly at high rpm,I could not figure out what was going on,then finally I checked the vent hose running off the valve cover,it goes from the rocker cover to to some tiny t-fitting to the cvt vent, then up to the air box.the hose was not blocked just to small and poorly routed from china.so I went to the auto parts store and bought a larger diameter hose and a breather all for about $12.00,and guess what, no oil leaks.every where I read said mount the hose p high but I have it right on the cvt cover with no issues yet,so far it's just blowing air and some water (looks like anyway).so I figure if I keep the breather cleaned all should be well. The reason for mounting it up high is so that oil will flow back down it, once you get some wear on the motor it might start dripping a little due to oil in the vented gasses, at that point you might want to mount it up higher.

On most it goes into the air box where pressure is vented through a sponge filter and the oil collected into a purg tube which should have a plug at the end of it which you remove to drain it at every oil change. On a new bike you will get extra flow there until the piston rings seat to the cylinder. Not allowing the engine to warm up before giving it heavy throttle will give you a surge of oil flow while it warms up. Oil spitting out at high rpm is many times a sign that the valves out of adjustment.
The high loop is as Doug mentioned to allow the oil purged from the valve cover vent to run back into the engine instead of getting discarded in the purg tube.
