Glad to hear that you are learning. Did you adjust the air/fuel mixture yet,,that makes a huge difference as well?

My attempts at starting today: After running for about two minutes it stalled. Sounds like its still sucking air somewhere..you can use JB weld and fix that manifold up temporarily,,but I would have a new one on the way sure thing...

I wouldnt ride mine on the interstate here,,everybody is doing 80 mph,,I struggle to do 50,,my scooter would not last long if I ripped around at 50-55mph down the highway for hours.I love to ride my GY6 35-45 mph it cruises perfect! If you want to travel the big roads you need atleast a 250-500cc IMO the 250 would even be a little small

I don't think its a big deal if the coupler is there or not,,I removed all my evap/emission crap.I only have one vac line from manifold to my fuel pump,,before that when I was running a manual petcock I plugged them all! If that line was a breather from the valve cover I would put it a little higher than the head and run a nice little filter on the end of it,,but it looks like an emission/evap line to me..

Yours has drum on the front,,not sure if I ever saw that except maybe on an older bike? To do the front you would need to change the forks with a caliper mount fork, get a master cylinder, and get a wheel with rotor mount,,for the rear well that would be a different story...

Think mine came with a 105 and man was it lean even with the super restricted stock system. It probably should have been a 110 at least and would have ran alot better..lol

Well the unit works again,,I had to cut the ford float down some for it to fit through the hole in top of tank,,hopefully it will hold up longer than the stock one...lol..I would almost recommend that the float be removed from ALL scooters during PDI,,it will eventually fall apart and start to cause fuel delivery issues shortly down the road...I believe they make a good material that you guys could use for making a float,,just need to find out what and where to get it,,then do the mod

You know what guys,, I just did a fuel pump/sending unit on my 2003 Ford Ranger and the float is about the same darn size,,I'm going to see if I can use it today. That should solve the issue with the crappy float that disintegrates after one year problem..

Took the unit out tonight and the float was off the end floating around in the tank,,the unit still works good when I move the linkage.Does anybody have any ideas what I can use to upgrade the junk float,,maybe a piece of cork?? The floats the chinese use are not that great and if I put another one in there its going to come apart just like this one did,,i saw small black pieces of it floating around.I will drain the tank tomorrow and clean it out. Cork?

75 mph on a stock 150cc? Ummmm NO. 75 kph maybe..lol..mine with mods might do 55-60mph with a tail wind if Im lucky..lol..cruises perfect between 35-45(sweet spot). If anything the mods just made it run more efficient.. Do yourself a favor and have somebody in a car run in front of you at 50 MPH,,I bet you will have a very hard time keeping up if you can..lol

VERY sharp scoot! I especially like the dual-disks and the shaded instruments, so you can see them in bright sunlight. Beautiful area too... How'd ya' like to have roads empty of traffic like that here? Nice riding conditions, but a little sad too. Not a lot of vehicles around. Leo in Texas That looks like a nice scoot. The argument isn't CAN china build quality products it's do they chose to. On another note . It's great to look at the new scooters and see the advancement but we should be careful not to look at china as some sort of emerging utopia. They have deep rooted issues , some leading to those empty roads and cities. The government will fix that be moving people into them. Also troubling. Google fake stores in china.... I spent time on mainland china and the people are wonderful, the leaders not so much. This is a long video but a good story. See there were even a couple of scoots in there! Lol I'm sorry to sidetrack but I think sometimes we forget that although china is an economic world power what we see is not always they way it is. I think its important to keep an open but level head on these things. Ride safe. That is 100% correct,,China can build very high quality parts and bikes if they want,,I see it all the time,,my brothers 29" Cannondale mountain bike was made there,,that thing is a top notch piece of machinery.Only when they get paid the big $$ and choose...other than that they are going to make/build whatever works, for the lowest price overhead to them,,so they can make a fortune and we dont have to break the bank.I like tinkering on the cheap chinese stuff,,its really not that bad after upgrades. My scooter gets used very often here and all i have to do is turn on the key and push the button,,Hmmmmmm,,kinda reminds me of my Honda days a little..lol
