I ordered pirelli sl-26 last thursday they arrived today.(way to go motorcycle superstore) just put the rear on and went for a ride and holy what a difference no more weird vibrations in the rear much much more smoother ride. thanks for the info everybody now to put on the front tire. Thats great! I bought the same tires last week but in 13's, its prob. a good thing that everybody persuaded me to spend the extra money for the Pirelli. What really sucks is that, I ordered my tires from the same place on Thursday as well, my tires ain't here yet... [/quote My tires came today! Thanks everybody. Now to put them on.....

When I first did my PDI last year, I changed out the craptastic glass fuse, and put in a 20amp wafer type fuse, (the kind in most automotive usage) In the PDI directions it said to use a 15amp fuse which I believe is the blue one, Well I put the 20amp fuse in. My question is, am I fine with that 20amp fuse or do I need to put the 15 amp fuse in? Its the one that is near the battery. Thanks, Randy

[replyingto=justin010304]justin010304[/replyingto]Well, I just thought that since its an NCY product that it might be worth a crap... Is the decompression a good thing or a bad thing? Or does the engine need it?

Is there anything wrong with the OML Platinum wire? That is the one I use, (the yellow one). This wire is bigger than the Ford Racing wires on my GF's dads 67 Mustang fastback. When I show people my wire coil/wire, they are kinda amazed!

NCY High performance Decompression kit, is this worth getting? Would it help anything out? I don't mind paying 12-15$ for this thing if it does a little to help a gy6 motor out. My local scooter repairman has one of these on his Kymco peoples 50, he told me I should get one. Anybody using this product? thanks, Randy

[replyingto=xxwoodmanxx]xxwoodmanxx[/replyingto]Me and my brother found out recently that riding crouched over (like we do on crotch-rockets) will help with the wind/drag resistance, and he swears gas mileage is better too! I ride crouched over where my helmet is near the speedo/gauges, and get up to 50 pretty dang quick! Then when I come to stops, I sit up and its like a parachute, helps slow down. Plus all that other stuff the other guys said too

plug it with a small peice of wooden dowel. I had one like that for 5 yrs. never leaked wait a minute... if it's been like that. the screw is on the bowl before the hose, so it's pbly ok Would it hurt anything If I left it unplugged? Its been like this since last year.... I'll go find a golf Tee and plug it now

When we put my 26mm adjust. carb on, we didn't plug or do anything to fuel drain hose, its just hanging underneath near the kickstand. So, do I need to plug the hose or kink it with a zip tie? Its been like this for quite a long time....

Do you have to get a matching Fly-wheel to use an 11 pole stator?

Alright guys, I went the extra $$ and just bought the Pirelli SL26 130-60-13 tires front and back! From all the feedback I have read, I should notice a difference night and day. I just cant wait to see what I'm missing! Thanks to everyone for all the advice. Randy

Went riding today, got caught in the thunderstorm(soaked), I had to bail out at the Church picnic shelter til the storm was over. Anyways I've noticed the past several times riding in the rain, it starts to sputtering and popping, loosing power, Air filter getting wet! Not long after it dries out everything runs just fine. My airfilter is a K&N type filter attached to some radiator hose just beneath my fender near the fuel filter. Is there any kind of cover I can get or something anyone has built or fabricated to keep air filters from getting wet?
Thank, Randy
