Great, then with taller gears you will be pleased if you can cruise at those speeds at 7K Alleyoop So, I guess when you say gears, you mean I can go with some heavier weights?

[replyingto=alleyoop]alleyoop[/replyingto]I can easily get up to 50-55mph confirmed, and that's a cruising speed on flats. It feels like I have more throttle but getting near redline at 8000rpm, so I just easily cruise at 7000rpms. It just seems like it could wind out some more top end. Kinda like, "got plenty of motor, need more gear" Yea, its a 150 with 13" wheels, looks like a 50 vip, I guess you could call it a "Sleeper" Lol! I get weird looks from people everywhere I go...

dr. pulley slider weights offer higher speed in general, but otherwise yes you would typically go heavier for a higher topend, but this is typically done in increments of 2g at a time unless you're absolutely sure what size weights to get. Also, go 1g higher than roller weight for sliders. So if I go 15gr or 17gr I would see higher speeds? My bottom end is great, just want some more top end. Do you know anything about what size main jet would be in my 26mm carb? thanks,

I have the 26mm carb bought off ebay, and was wondering what size the main jet is in it? Maybe someone here might know? Also 2nd question: If I want higher speeds, do I use heavier weights such as 15gr or 17gr? I have the stock weights in it now which I believe are 13 or 14gr? The make and model are in my sig. below.
Thanks to everyone!!

Its been a while since ive posted anything on here, but ive been reading threads every weekend so, Im fixing to order some parts and want some advice. My stock main jet has never been changed, guess it needs to be bigger with all the mods in my sig? Roller weights, I have the stock weights in as well 13gm? My bottem end power is great, which weights do you guys reccomend for higher speeds? Also back to the upjetting? I live in the very middle of North Carolina (the very middle) in case anyone needs to know about elevation Many thanks to everyone for advice!
