Here you go, you need to take the CLUTCH off and replace the old spring seat with the NCY spring seat that has bearings to have the spring rotate and not bind on the seat. So take the clutch off that and pull the spring off and then the seat and put on the NCY spring seat like this then put the spring on and clutch back together. Alleyoop Thanks Alley for the pics, but I need some better detailed pics. Would there be a video out there on this?

How do you take the old spring seat off? Use a flat head screw-driver? Im trying to install this and see how it works out. Apparently there is no video anywhere on how to use this NCY product? Does anybody use this? It will make your belt engage smoother?

Ok, put the new 26mm RunTong carb on, its fully adjustable. My brother put it on, all he did was raise the needle, and didnt even change jets in it, left whatever was in it there, he didn't even turn the air fuel mixture screw, left it alone too, and it runs just fine. Starts fine, idles fine, no popping or stuttering, no chugging at any speed. If it runs fine now, should I just leave it alone?

What's ur top speed with the 61mm and crankshaft? I haven't checked for top speed yet, still taking it easy on the new motor. Right now, i can get up to 50mph quick, I just give it a little throttle, and it gets up to 50 very easy. Right now i've just been cruising going gps 50-55-60. I'm going to waitn a while til I do any top speed runs. I was doing 55 on the way to work this morning in a 55 zone, and passed a Tractor Trailer with ease! I got tired of his tail wind and his speeds going up and down.

Did the weather change ? Did you change fuel ? have you rechecked the compression ? Is the vac line dry ? I agree something has changed . Not triyng to over talk Alley , Alley has his carb problems in order . John I ordered another carb off eBay, one that Millsc said he runs, hopefully it will have needle adjustments. This thing is getting annoying.

Doublert, Popping taking off is to much gas but it is not DUE TO THE MAIN JET it is getting to much fuel from the PILOT JET. If it runs good with the 112.5 at 3/4 throttle and WOT leave that one in. The problem is the low range. How many turns is the Fuel Ratio screw out? Do this warm up the motor at least 5 minutes and then slowly turn the Fuel Ratio screw CLOCKWISE until it stops. IF the motor keeps running the PILOT JET is to big. Alleyoop I dont understand how it ran fine with the same pilot jet and main jet before. It ran fine just with a 61 BBK, then it ran fine with 61 BBK and 3mm crank. Now on the way to work and home today, it would run ok half the time, then when I slow down and try and keep speed at 50, it would chug and jerk a little, and when I slow down to make a turn then give it throttle to go, it will stutter and pop a little. But when it acts up like that, I give it gas, and it clears up great. Idk...I'll see what size pilot jet is in it now i guess. I do notice, that after a long ride, say 15 miles home, I'll cut it off, and try to restart it, and it acts like its flooded, kinda slow to start up, but eventually does.

Popping at the muffler or carb ? John Its popping at the muffler, only when taking off, midrange or faster going to 50 it runs fine. Its not popping real bad, kinda like a stutter, or sputtering. It ran smooth before with the 3mm crank. Then we installed the 4mm, with a 120 jet, and it popped and ran crappy like something was wrong with carb. We put the 112.5 jet back in like it had with the 3mm crank, and now it runs alot better, just doing like I stated above, just wish it ran smoother like it did. I don't mind getting another carb, I just wanna get the right one, and not waste any money.

Alley, Them bigger carbs like the 30mm OKO flatsides and 28 flatsides from ScooterElements would they be beneficial for my situation? Or should I just get a cheap one off ebay that is fully adjustable? I have a cheap 26mm carb off ebay now, it just doesn't have needle clips.

Where is it popping from intake or exhaust ? What type air filter and exhaust ? John My air filter is the blue splash proof filter from Scrappys, on a 1Ft long piece of radiator hose, Exhaust is the Two Brothers racing, like the kind scooter elements sells. We put the 112.5 jet in and it runs better, just pops and sputters when slowly taking off.
