If I need a new 61mm piston because my timing chain broke yesterday, would scooter elements have just the piston, or would I have to buy the whole Taida 61 BBK?

My timing chain broke today, it was a new chain! only used the spacer with no spacer gaskets. Even left it on the motor for a day or so to stretch. Stumped....

Timing chain either came off or broke, I can see it down in that pocket where it comes out from.

Went for a cruise again today, went back in town, scooter just cut off. The starter would start, engine would not turn over. took the seat off, checked over things, I'm sick of this thing, I have done nothing but waste my money! It is fixing to get the shotgun. All the money I have tied up in this crap, would have been a nice down payment on a brand new Kawasaki ZX-12.

Has anyone used the NCY secondary spring seat? Mine came in the mail yesterday, and there are no directions? Its suppose to make the belt engage more smoother or something....

Just for reference was thrre any fluctuations in the valve lash when you rechecked it . I'm glad your up and running again !!!!! John My brother didnt say anything about valve fluctuations or anything weird or different. Now my problem is that my Mikuni fuel petcock crapped out on me/woreout, had to put the oem petcock on, and that thing isnt worth a crap. Also ordered a 120 main jet, that is the main jet millsc is running and he told me to get it, (we have the same motor and crank except cams) It is running, but not as good as it should. Just ordered another Mikuni fuel pump and also the NCY secondary spring seat, gonna try it out, and see what happens with it.

Got it going. Took the plug out, and put a new one in, what a simple fix. Took it downtown, got some smokes and filled up the tank. went home, put the new NCY clutch on, and so far everything runs strong and fine. Thanks to everyone for all the help! Wish you all were near me, so I could take you all out to eat!

doublert have you checked the valves since it stopped running ?
John Yes, the valves have been checked, my intake is .004 and the exhaust is .005

.004 is correct I have tried other was and not as good results. I have a ncy 61mm bbk with the ncy head. I am running 30mm cvk carb with 110 and 35 jets (dyno tuned) in florida. I have not had this running very long and today I'm pretty sure I found one of my problems. I'm pretty sure I need a new crank and am going to go with the ncy crank. I am very interested in the taida kit. I just really want a forged piston. Please let me know how things go. It isnt going yet, Frustrated and really mad. My brother drained the oil in it today, and the oil pan had alot of gas mixed in the oil. So we changed the Mikuni petcock and put my stock one back on, and still wont start for nothing....

Where can I find the hayabusa body kit for an lb1p57qmj gy6 roketa??? Sent from my SGH-T599N using Tapatalk I accidently found it when I was googling body parts for mine, cause I wanted to change the look. I just need to get mine started and running good before I do body stuff though.

How often should these carbs on these things be cleaned? A few times I have ridden in the rain, I dont have the stock airbox setup, just wondering if the carb needs blowed out or cleaned?
