OK, got to thinking.... What if we can keep and use our Hoca/racing fan for less weight/drag, and just ad a fan scoop? I'm making my own scoop with a 4" black ABS from Lowes, gonna trim some off a little, and mount it with some small L brackets. I seen a guy on the old site scootdawg do this in the tips and tricks section. Everyone should try it, besides, a cooler engine is a happy engine right?

Is there some way we could attach them in our variator drive face? I seen scooterelements has a NCY driveface with a fan in it to cool down the cvt.

[replyingto=scoots]scoots[/replyingto]So, what the crap are all of us supposed to do with our Hoca Fans? I paid my local scooter guy like, 30$ for my fan! I was uneducated and didn't know any better, he told me it was an aftermarket racing fan and would cool better. 30$ could get me a roller weight kit, or some other goodies!
Anybody want to buy a cool, red, racing fan? LOL!

[replyingto=doublert]doublert[/replyingto][replyingto=doublert]doublert[/replyingto]Well, guess im gonna get a couple of those NCY gaskets from GY6racing, while im at it, gonna get the NCY oil decompression tube kit, some people have said the decomp oil kit won't do anything, but it looks pretty cool on my friends scooter. But hey, I bought the orance cdi and coil for 28$, that junk didnt do anything either, been using my stock cdi with all the mods in my sig. Its not like that oil decomp kit is expensive, it kinda looks pretty neat!

[replyingto=ltdhpp]ltdhpp[/replyingto]The other guy said, "I cant see a Chinese head and a Chinese pipe making their own seal" Yes my head is Chinese, but my header pipe is the two brothers pipe, and I didn't think it is Chinese, unless it is just the design. A gasket didn't come with my kit, I don't know if it needs one. The guy here from ScooterElements sells the same kit that I bought, I wonder if he knows if it needs a gasket for proper installation?

You must of asked him where is the gasket, and since he probably did not have any he told you that. Unless the FLANGE that bolts up to your head that they sold you has a built in piece that fits the indent in the head where the gasket goes you need one. Alleyoop So, even if it does have that flange piece that fits the indent in the head, would it hurt anything to still make or put a gasket in there? I have gasket making material and could make one.

Hey guys, Got a Question, may be a dumb one though but..... All exhaust kits that go on our scooters, do all of them have to have a gasket? The gasket where the header pipe connects too? I think the guy at Two Brothers Racing told me that my kit didn't need one? I'm not sure, but I always thought exhaust systems on these things and motorcycles needed gaskets? Thanks, Randy

You should try making one out of a big can, like maybe one of them assorted flavored popcorn cans, like the kind you can get at walmart? I bet that would have some deep tones!!! Anyways that was very clever, and good idea!
