gearing is eary dont go under 10/1 final drive ratio. id say 11/1 is best. to figure what ratio an upgear will give you divde eack larger primary and secondary gear teeth count by its counter part ''smaller'' gear. that will give you the final drive.

ya it can be the fuel tank some times but with my experience with the fuel tank is it will actually die on you when theres no air. to me it sounds like your rich or lean. in my experience when it bogs down at high speed or has trouble accelerating at high speed when you let off the throttle it is rich. try adjusting the carb or rejeting it. those canisters are usualy problems on 4stroke scooters not 2 strokes. my scooter runs fine with the canister connected to the tank.

i get about 80 with my 72cc kit. but on the other hand my nozzle doesn't screw on all the way. curse those harbor freight compression testers.

you can make your own gasket with gasket paer from auto zone. other than that it could be anything gasket,rings, crack in case. i would defintely ask for a return option from him.

Did you make sure you put the piston in port side up. i've seen them put in upside down and have the same symptoms. And if your carb is stock or s,maller than 19mm i would upgrade. you did upjet too.

they are way better. i have had both and am much happier with my 2 stroke. seems like they really cheaped out on my 4 stroke as far as design goes my 2t has way more bells and whistles and about the same price as my old 4.

you know what works for me when i cant start. take off the air filter hold hand over the snorkel kick a few times remove hand then kick it might start.

2000 is too much for a 2 stroke go with something in the 1000-1500 range.

returned the other gears and cant afford the knew ones yet they are more than the refund. Funny thing i ripped my gasket messing around the box and had to buy some gasket paper and make an oil print. better than paying top dollar. and have some sheet left over.

well i ditches the oko and went with a dellorto 19mm black. it mounts with my stock intake. having issues tunning this one had to get a couple jet kits. still lean ordered a 100-122 kit, should be here in a couple of days so will know then.

got everything installed it went ok except the cable catch was a bit big for the pump had to drill the latch bigger . thnx
