Good job! It's amazing how the style hasn't changed in nearly 30 yrs, though. lol Looks just like my '05, body-wise.

Hope the fuel issue is a simple fix, man. One upgrade I really like on my 250cc is a MrGasket elec. fuel pump. I always get a kick out of hearing her spool up when I turn the key on. hehe

looks like it's pretty much attributed to poor storage. Steel hates moisture I'm guessing. Yea, get on the horn with them

I know I'm a little late to this conversation. But, what I'm taking away from this is,.... why is it you had a scooter out on the road with no title? Which, in-turn, means no registration, no tags, and no insurance? Fines, license suspension (then renewal), court costs, etc. could easily exceed $1500-2000 (at least here in OH)

Agreed. Rear drum cable? Or is it a seat release cable?

Thx. Yeah, he's got a few aftermarket DC CDI's available, too. I somewhat blame myself for jumping the gun and buying an adjustable priced too good to be true. lol

Well, the seller's a stand-up guy. He called and we spoke over the phone the other day, askin him questions, etc. He'll come through and do the right thing. I've already sent him an email regarding this. He has a few other CDIs for sale. He stated that if this one isn't what's right for me, he'll trade it in for another and credit me the difference.

I got it today, and installed it. Ebay seller swore to me that this is the right CDI for my scooter. Started it up, and ran good. But when I went to shut her off, she remained running??? I turned the key off, hit the kill switch, even pulled the ket out the ignition, and nadda! I did the Pin#6 voltage test (no 12v to pin #6), to even see that I needed an AC CDI. Would this mean that the seller sold me a DC one instead? I do not get 12v on pin #6 when I turn the key to "on".
thoughts?

The only thing that stopped me from trading for one of these was it's limited top speed. I'll stick with my CFMoto Fashion 250 .....for now

I did the pin-out test on pin #6 to see if I get 12v and I do not. This implies that I have an AC CDI. Hmmmmmmm. Luckily this private seller has a bunch of them, so I'm looking to work out a deal with him on a "proper" one now. lol

Cool. Well, mine is definitely the "bigger" CDI, and I went on Ebay and I purchased a CDI that was the larger dimensions as well. But it failed to mention if it was AC or DC, only that it was "digital adjustable" with the yellow plastic casing and it has the adjustable pot.
EDIT: JUST like the one you posted in the link, yes. lol
