pretty sure you have the GY6 157QMJ, which is what mostly all 150cc GY6's are based off of. ScooterElements is excellent, or just search for "gy6 performance" on Ebay.

Iirc, stock is #107 main jet. Based on whats in my sig, i used a 120, and it was a bit too rich, so i bumped down to a 115, and seems better. Might look for a #117.5 to get it just right.. hope that helps.

Awesome! Yeah, the chrome didn't go with the camo/military theme at all. I definitely dig it!

Yep. Flat and angled bar stock piece(s) are your best friend when it comes to aftermarket exhaust. You have no real choice in the matter, really. If you want to defer from stock exhaust, then you have to put a little effort into it, or leave the stock exhaust alone

Thanks woodman .Two questions however .Which side is swing arm side ? Left or right ? DO both shocks need to be free? On this scoot it looks like I will have to remove the muffler and the bracket that holds the muffler . There does not seem to be anything else in the way after I would remove the axle nut .From what I see ,there is the brake drum on the right side of wheel and nothing else that I can see that would be in the way. As I have never taken one of these wheels off before ,it really looks like a removal of a car wheel. It looks like it can be removed after the muffler is off ,but I am sure it is more complicated then that. I will follow your instructions ,but if you would answer my two questions it sure would help. Yes, both shocks need to be unbolted. The Swingarm is on the right-side, and I totally forgot to mention about removing the muffler (doh!) But yes, it needs to be done in-order to free the rear wheel

I just did it today on mine, to get my tire balanced. I took it completely off from just the swingarm side, never having to touch the CVT side. My order? - Remove C-clip on axle and remove axle nut (I put a pistol Clamp on the rear brake lever to hold the wheel still) - Remove rear brake caliper - Remove lower bolts on bottom of both shocks and let the motor/swingarm swing down freely - Remove both bolts on swingarm off of motor and wiggle that sucker outta there) - Remove rear wheel - Don't forget to remove rear brake disc before having tire changed.

I'm currently mixing 13g sliders and 10g rollers with mine,.....I think I'm still engaging too early however. I'll probably get some lower-weight sliders soon.

The tires are not balanced . Get them balanced like I did and tada a smooth ride I feel as if that's what I'll need to do as well. Need to try and remind myself of that this coming weekend Can I do it from the non-transmission side, by simply removing the axle mount off the rear of the motor case?

Like it, but I just don't think Chrome and camo go together. It speaks to me, "I don't wanna be seen, but I wanna be seen." lol

LOL. Mine is the exact same one, too. Mine's a DongFang Sunny DF150STD, but Black I would recomment getting a performance variator as well (115mm). I got a Koso on mine, and I feel a big difference, and getting more top-speed, too! She'll do about 70-72 now with all I've done to it. I would probably recommend a better performance exhaust than the $80 Ebay special. Mine's nice, and "whappy", and I like that ppl can "hear" me coming, but provides little-to-no tuned performance, since it's just a bent piece of stainless steel with an alum can on the end. Person ally, I think the Yoshimura sticker I put on the muffler provides better performance than the exhaust itself. lol

Well, to give you an example, I had a #107 main jet in my GY6 150, and went up to a 125 when I put my performance exhaust on, ported the intake and carb, and UNI filter and intake on it. It ran a little rich, so I had to back down to a #120, and seems to be pretty good now. Jet kits (normally 5 diff. sizes) can be found for cheap on Ebay and gives you some tuning room with the help of an accessable A/F screw.

Looking to get a battery for the scoot in my sig. Any suggestions on one? What's a good CCA to look for?

Check your a/f screw and see how many turns out it is on your carb

My vip only has one spot on the needle and sugestions? You might be able to stick a tiny washer there underneath your needle. That is if you have an adjustable needle carburetor. I say see how that works and adjust accordingly.
