I would like to know what size jets i should get to play with,,I plan on installing aftermarket free flowing air cleaner, quality keihin 24mm carb(not sure what jet is in it yet),performance intake, performance exhaust, cdi, coil, and maybe sliders and gears,,but otherwise keeping it stock. Thanks in advance guys!

Iirc, stock is #107 main jet. Based on whats in my sig, i used a 120, and it was a bit too rich, so i bumped down to a 115, and seems better. Might look for a #117.5 to get it just right.. hope that helps.

[replyingto=xxwoodmanxx]xxwoodmanxx[/replyingto]Thanks for those numbers bro,,I will get a few starting with 110-117 and see how she responds!
I see most of these come with 12g rollers but you guys are using 11g sliders,,is there a reason for the 1g drop when going to sliders,,i dont want to loose any top speed,,Im striving for a little more power for a possible higher gear change that will allow me to cruise 45-50 mph no strain,,no pain,, ya know?

About 115 miles,,just got it together not long ago.I just ordered a chinese set of jets cloned for the keihin,,they have105,110,115,120,125,so hopefully the 110 will be sufficient for the POD,intake, and exhaust I choose.

I would say don't mess with it the best mod you can do is put 1000 miles on it you will be surprised how much better it will perform when it is broke in.

I love to tinker also more than riding. You can put your upgrades on but you will see much better results once its broke in good its hard to explain when I got my 150 it was slow I could only run about 50 at the best and it only got 55 mpg I was so dissapointed but over the first 1000 miles or so it got better and better until I could run 60+ and cruise at 50 and I could get 85mpg. Then I started messing with jets and cone air filters and free flow exhaust. It may have gave me a small bump in power the best thing I have bought is a koso varaitor I have better takeoff and much lower cruising rpms.

I have a kosco variator on my ebay watch list,,what size sliders do you recommend for me(175lbs),,I like good top speed and decent take off,,kinda like the stock gearing but might go a tad steeper after mods? Not sure but I think it has 12g rollers in it stock?

I went with 10 gram you will also need a 842 belt but you may already have one on your scooter another this the koso varaitors that US sellers offer sell for around $50 I got mine from a seller in china for half that it just takes a 2 or 3 weeks to get here.

110 jet will be good for stock....112-114 after intake upgrade and 115-117 after intake and exhaust upgrade.
The 842 belt will just gets you 1-2 more mph than the 835, unless your on 50 mph+ speed limit roads a lot the 835 will do great.
