Looking to see what are some of the best upgrades for my water-cooled CN250 motor. Thx!

The links you provided help a TON! Thanx, spandi! Now I just need to determine if I have an AC or a DC CDI. EDIT: Would that be determined by whether or not I have "square'ish" plugs in my CDI, or "round'ish" plugs going into it?

Cool. Well, mine is definitely the "bigger" CDI, and I went on Ebay and I purchased a CDI that was the larger dimensions as well. But it failed to mention if it was AC or DC, only that it was "digital adjustable" with the yellow plastic casing and it has the adjustable pot.
EDIT: JUST like the one you posted in the link, yes. lol

I did the pin-out test on pin #6 to see if I get 12v and I do not. This implies that I have an AC CDI. Hmmmmmmm. Luckily this private seller has a bunch of them, so I'm looking to work out a deal with him on a "proper" one now. lol

If you can't get a definitive answer here, call and ask one of the companies listed. I'm sure they'll know as they sell them all the time. (Heck, I'd even call CF Moto and get it from the dragons mouth)

I own a Bali 250 with a CN250 engine in it. I was looking at fancy exhaust protectors on Amazon.com. I know these exhaust parts go to a different type of motorcycle, but one with chrome flame would look cool on a scooter. These parts are pretty cheap cost wise for cosmetic appearance. Not exactly what upgrades you was counting on.

Yes, never go by the size of the CDI some performance AC cdis are like 4 inchs long by 2 inch wide. Always Turn the Key on and check the BOTTOM POWER wire on the 2 PLUG of the CDI if it registers 12v then it is a DC CDI and it gets its power from the battery. So if your battery goes south your motor will not start. Alleyoop

Yup. I got myself an adjustable performance AC CDI, and its a sweet little upgrade! Next is jetting and then put my uni filter on.
