Stock I would guess it is slower than a two wheeled scooter,
Alley has one that is faster than most two wheeled 150cc scooters. It has been heavily modded though.

Could go to a Honda website and look at online manuals for CN250 engine. You could but we also have it in our manuals available for free download as a PDF.

I rode a lot of Honda Trail bikes with the "auto clutch" it really is not that much different than a regular clutch. Are you sure the back brake is not a pedal on the right side of the motor next to the foot peg?
Skuttadawg, Evo has been around for years, they are probably fairly safe to order from. I do not recall a lot of complaints about them, but as always on the internet you have to be careful.

In reality here is the way it is. Robinhood did not steal from the rich and give to the poor. He stole the tax money and gave it back to the poor people. All governments have the position that the land barons did 1000 years ago. The country is theirs and the serfs living there will do what the rulers will tell them to do, period.
I feel sorry for our friends in the more socialistic countries of the world. They have it as we will have it in a few more years. Seems we fought a revolution to get away from it but are now running towards it.

No sense worrying about it now. But I kind of doubt it is ruined. You'll just have to ride it and see how it holds up. I am guessing it is not a new battery.

Yeah that is the problem with cables, they do stretch, that is why there is an adjuster for you to use. The cable can stretch too far to be adjusted too.

Personally I am not a fan of the VOG body style but don't tell that to anybody please.
If you like the looks of the Helix, go with that one. I have seen a lot of people post that they got a lot of trouble free miles with the clones and the kind of riding you are talking about is great for it. THe valves are easier to adjust too.
There are a lot of people here with the Linhai motor and they too love their scooter, I just have not seen posts of them going 20 k plus miles.
Now I am sure we will see them though.

Wonder why I didnt have a gasket on mine? Most of my searches for a part show them on 150's and above. Chinese quality control. You didn't have a exhaust noise? I'd install one if it were mine.
