Just wanted to start a thread and see what you all have done to your scooter today...
Lets see today,I checked my oil,tire pressure applied silicone to the plastic/rubber,and now Im going for a ride,,but yesterday I was playing around with roller weights..
Hopefully I wont be doing anything other than basic maintenance and mods for a while...I may wash it tomorrow..

I took out the high performance motor I built, and put the original back in.I need to do some more work on it before i'm happy. Overheated the cylinder yesterday. No dmage though I took the head off to check. The original motor runs like a champ! 37-40 mph no problem smooth and quiet too. Just sucks on hills and against the wind. While I play with the build, I want to be able to ride. So out it came for now. |

Oil change..Royal Purple 10w40 cycle oil..general polishing after days of rain.

I did the first "break in" oil change, gear oil changed to synthetic. Had to re-secure the VIN# cover plate.
Went for a ride.

I put a new drive belt on last night. Riding today revealed that it didn't fix the squeal starting hard from a dead stop. I tried to do hard starts to burn off the glaze, but to no avail. Now it is time to clean the clutch.

Thats awesome guys,, I also noticed a little bit of oil under my dipstick area when I got back from a ride so I cleaned it off with carb cleaner and will try to see if its just coming from the dipstick O-ring tomorrow after a nice ride to the bank! |

Put on some custom Znen decals that are beautiful to look at. (almost like the logo style from 2001: A Space Odyssey)

Went to bank,,ran sweet,,30 mile ride,,will change over to Rotella full synthetic very soon 1300Km on her now.
