I never use the side stand. But I do pivot my scooters 180° on the center stand. The space I park isn't real big, so instead of a 21 point turn, I pivot on the center. Usually leaning it towards myself to pivot on the closer point. I have also done the pivot if I was parked in a place where I'd have to back out into traffic - pivot and pull out forward. Neither of mine have rubber on the feet. I've just got a Honda Shadow, and I don't think I'll be pivoting that on the side stand either! (no center stand.)

If I had a small pile of cash, I could take a vacation, drive out to Virginia for the gt300, then down to Ashville to visit the GF's sister, then down to Tail of the Dragon, and then home = 2200 miles round trip. 6-ish tanks of gas, a hotel or two... Wishful thinking! The Kymco GT300i on ebay sold this morning, with 3 seconds to go the only bid was posted. $2k. Someone got a steal.

Speaking of accuracy and GPS, On October 2, I changed a setting in MyTracks to take data points more often (3ft vs. 32ft) That morning my GPS said I hit 61.51MPH for the top speed. The morning before -October 1- also was a little bit higher at 58.27, still on the 32ft recording.
Every other morning ride, my top speed is just 55MPH-ish.
Then I realized we had solar flare activity. Darn it!

I was going to cut and fold the ends away, but the metal was very easy to bend and break with pliers alone.

On my old 150, I could usually "aim" the nozzle so the gas mostly went around the bar. Then I'd watch until the fuel was near the bar, and finish slow, or in "spurts". I seldom got more than a few spatters around the filler-neck and always kept a paper towel from the window cleaning area handy to wipe up. I think gassing up these scoots is a "practiced art"... LOL! Really!Leo in Texas That is what I was doing, until the KwikTrip experience. Not being able to modulate the flow is very unhelpful.

The owners manual includes things like taking the head off and cleaning the carbon, cleaning the exhaust port and cleaning the muffler out. I'll post the image tomorrow. Or not. This forum has exceeded its attachment space.

Is your brake on the left side or right side, in the rear?
My Xingyue has the caliper mounted on the left on the back end of the CVT .
My Znen has the caliper mounted on the right side, on the steel swingarm. IF I had to, I could change to a drum brake - though I am not sure at the moment, my wheel is a drum wheel or not. But the area around the axle has at least some of the nubs for mounting shoes.

I tried a couple things, finally took the motor out, recleaned the area, removed the magneto, stator and ignition pick up, stood the motor in a bucket so the broken ear eas up, and I brazed in a bunch of new aluminum. I used the swung arm to center and drill a new pilot and final hole, and then tapped new threads. s235.photobucket.com/user/jeepsteve92xj/library/scooter/ZNEN/repairing%20the%20broken%20ear?sort=2&page=1Mine was the upper ear, so I could have replaced the far right case part. Yours is on the center case section, = much more work. However, if you have a single shock and no right side swing arm, you could rig a mount to the top hole and try to clamp (bolt, nut, washers)in the lower partial hole. If you cant do the brazing, then do the cleanup, and take the whole motor to a welding shop (or maybe a technical school welding class)

you didn't drop a valve, but something was loose in there. Nothing is white like it was run lean. But I can't quite make out the center of the sparkplug.
