I love the Lambretta with the RD350 2T stuffed in.
I think with a decent shop and a few tools I could make a liquid cooled Ninja 250 or 300 motor hide under my ITA150 body panels. Including shifting (by hand). It would look fairly normal. But it wouldn't sound the same! Probably get the same mpg if I rode conservatively.

I upgraded my BA20D from 18/18 to 25/25, then to an H4 45/45 but that one had a black tip and cast a huge shadow. Now I run a bi-xenon 6000k. The lens has never got too warm to touch, even sitting in the sun, running for 20+ minutes for EFI computer tuning, stationary. I also did NOT add any cooling holes like others have done. I haven't been for a late night ride, but dusk and dawn are well lit. I did change all the other bulbs to LED. I am running an 11 pole stator.

Nice buy. I gotta keep my eyes open for a 250+ deal Jeepsteve92xj, I'd recommend that. I searched the Internet and found many, MANY nice 250's. Lots of Honda Reflexes, lots of Kymco Grand Vistas. BUT... If you DON'T need a flat-floor, your options are limitless! I almost went with a Kymco Exciting 500 but I just couldn't manage the "hump". It was also a "maxi" and MUCH larger and heavier than the 150. I found for MY use, the Grand Vista, and a few Italian scoots were about all that were available used and affordable. Below is a just-ended eBay listing for a swell Kymco GTi300. I almost went for this one! E-mailed them, and they were very nice about getting the scoot shipped and titled out of state. THIS one was the buy of the century! $2,000 opening bid, and NO bids!!! This IS the time to BUY! Not to SELL! This bad boy step-through will nudge 100 mph and give 70 mpg in town! 2012 Kymco GTi300 KYMCO GTi300 SCOOTER / MOTORCYCLE 300cc UNDER 3000 miles GREAT SHAPE Item number: 331032538800 Top-rated seller Member id eroyalpawn ( Feedback Score Of 1772Red star icon for feedback score in between 1,000 to 4,999) You really might want to contact them. This IS a $4,000 used scoot, for $2,000 plus shipping. The ONLY reason I did not bid was the local dealer made it SO convenient and affordable to get the Grand Vista. Right now, the online dealers are REALLY dealing on brand-new Chinese 250's. Under $2,000 delivered! As with the 150's, I'm sure you get your money's worth and more, but I'm just a little gun-shy about Chinese. If I were younger, pain-free, frisky and "ready to wrench"... I might have tried a Chinese 250. But a buy like that GTi300 for $2,000 is mighty tempting! "Seek, and ye shall find"... Yup!Whatever you decide, definitely DO ride both the smaller, AND maxi-scoots to see if you prefer the heavy road bike, or the lighter, more nimble versions. All depends on how much city and highway use you will have. The "scooters" and "maxi-scooters" are totally different animals. Ride safe!Leo Wow, That is a nice deal. I could see a road trip for that. A good reason to hit the Wheels through Time museum and Tail of the Dragon! IF I had 2k for the bike and another lump for road trip gas. I saw a Sym HD200 in TX for $2k last spring on ebay. I think it had 1500 miles. I sure like the flat floor - it is handy when bring home groceries. And the 16" wheels. Now If I could get a few weeks of overtime to buy something...

The original exhaust had an outlet smaller than a dime. I know it is running stronger, but the head and displacement are probably the next restrictions to be handled.
I don't know if I could get enough heat to unbend the last bend myself, so the plan is to sometime take it off and ask my favorite exhaust shop if they could do it. It is a straight through short muffler, so it is nothing like quiet. However, with less band, I think a quieter muffler could be fit. Or take the muffler apart and add some packing.
Did you see my pics of fixing the case? The OEM exhaust broke loose and broke out the ear. Tried JB weld epoxy which lasted a week or so, then ended up welding new aluminum in and drilling and tapping the hole. One extra hole drilled in the swing arm to mount the new muffler. Our roads here are pretty rough, the pavement seams every 30 feet or whatever are hard on the 12" wheels. Much nicer on the 16" wheel scooter.

I'll have to have another look at movie maker - I tried one short clip and the file size was ridiculous!

change the master-cylinder to a remote style fluid reservoir. The lever and clamp will be a lower profile, the reservoir can be moved around a bit to clear the screen.

That dash looks exactly like my Znen 150T-F What did you use to edit your video? Was it free, and easy? Or at least cheap?

Someone at work has a Kymco 250 16" wheel scooter. My ITA150 is a cheap knock off with all of 8hp. I found a wrecked Honda SH150i. I'd bet swapping the Honda motor into my Xingyue wouldn't bee too hard. Twice the hp for a $1000 or so. Wish it was easy to get the Kymco or Sym motors just to stuff into the cheap frame.
