The fuze should have melted frist.
Start at the fuse and see what value it is. Should be like 7 amps i'm not sure.
If the fuze is open then no power can get to anywhere to melt/start a fire unless it isn't working right.
So start there.
Second get a new regulator or 2 Ha Ha and you need to run a bypass wire to replace the melted one.
When the diode fails in the regulator they usually short out so this is probably what is happening. The diode/scr shorted and then the fuze should have blown. That didnt happen so why???
!! don't run the engine with the regulator out of the circuit,, There is no regulatoin and a high voltage will burn out lamps.!!

2003 Kinetic Malino Scooter 50cc 2 cycle made in India named "lil buddha'  3000 miles got sugar in tank and it stopped running and sat for 8 years. I suspect they sugared the oil tank too. The engine crankcase was 1/2 full of oil. I sucked it out. Carb still is a mess but it runs on choke. I on premix now. Their is a noise, a bearing noise a whirsh, sound that is constant. It seems at first an issue but maybe not. Don't know. I invite you to take a listen if you got headphones you get a good replication with the sounds. PS their is a carb noise,, Filter that out and you will hear the other noise. Anyway she look nice and runs strong. It is difficult because I can't locate any parts for it. So I got to get creative. If you got parts for this hit me up. |

Guitar strings yeah i seek them out,, i got a torch tip cleaner but it won't do the really small hole,

I soldered it. 40/60 I can't tell if it will be successful until time passes. I ordered a Chinese carb to replace it so I have a back door solution.
I need to figure out where to find a really small wire to open the idle jet. She is stopped up. Sugar in the tank deal.

That name is cool, my friend sold me a scooter that's been sitting 8 years and someone put sugar in the tanks. It is a Kinetic made in India I call her LiL Buddha... She need a lot of work and no parts are available. A true challenge.  |

the only difference in the two, gearbox or cvt is heat loss. Gears are better if you want the utmost mpg. CVT waste 12% of the heat and is shows up at the pump.
The only other difference is scale.
IMO the CTV is a step forward in the evolution of transportation.
Most Harley riders in general use a more primitive parts of the brain and it is no wonder that these one sided arguments arise but in the big picture it is all the same,
The balance in such an argument senero can be balance by applying the golden ratio. After factoring in the life component. with get the Fibonacci sequence.
So it only matter in time but time changes so the argument doesn't stand the test of time. So it nulls out. Maybe. Maybe not,!!!
So the correct answer is their both right and wrong = same thing
So what is left is 1 thing, You figure out what that is, That's the real question.

i used epoxy with polyester thread and wrapped it and the epoxy started to desolve so i am a square 1.

I have a float that sinks, it has a series of small hard to see fatigue cracks from barometric pressure cycles, what resin will work in a gas/alcohol environment. to seal them up.
I can and will solder it but it is heaver than gas so i would like to use a substance that is as heavy or liter that gas,

I mopped out the oil and inspected the piston cyl head etc,, is build like a diesel, It's way over built.
It looks like the scooter I have been dreaming about, Rough little Utility scooter. Like a John Deere tractor, no wait a 8n ford tractor,,,

this is 2 cycle engine 50cc
i got through the carb and the float has some gas inside it i cleaned it all round, Put it togather to see if it would run,, It starts but stops clean oil from plug crank it oner some put plug in starts rite up then dies, plug soaked in oil.. Crankcase is 1/2 full of oil.
Tomorrow i get in there pump the oil out disable the oil pump gear and run premix problem solved.
