Thought I'd make a thread about this. I have a few dui's and part of my sentence is a couple days of jail. Go in tomorrow morning so I will see you guys Sunday at the earliest I believe.

dont drive drunk , i drink in the afternoon but dont attempt to drive car or scoot after drinking, not worth killing yourself or someone else, you probably got it work out i hope  |

 My buddy just got out of jail for OWI(dui). I've been there a few times, probably longer than most others---young and dumb. Think you can take that chance and drive, it'll get you sooner or later. For starting a thread like this, my respect went up by far for you. A couple of days isn't bad--- I hope you learn, that's all I can say.

i do drink and i have drank and drove years ago, not now, i have kids and don't want them to lose their dad or someone else to lose their parent either. So i dont do that stuff anymore but we all make mistakes. do your few days and stay out of motor vechicles intoxicated its all good live and learn, ride on |

man don't drink and drive there are way to many things that can happen while in the big house think about how much worse it could have been you could have BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT THAT KILL SOMEONE and you would be in the big house for man slaughter and have to live knowing that you took someone life by being dumb

I almost killed 3 people driving drunk, Someone or something up there saved me, so I can't play that no more.

I honestly didn't think people still did that. Let alone be dumb enough to do it again multiple times having already been caught. At least the roads will be safer in your area for a few days. Have fun in jail. Hopefully you'll learn this time. Ian |

I had a friend in high school, decades ago, back in the 60's that went out had a good time got plastered and then ran over and killed another kid. Back then people were not held as accountable for driving under the influence. Let me tell you my friend was never the same after that.

back in the day, myself, and all of my friends would go out drinking in newport and drive, wreck, get chased by cops.sometimes even beat-em, (you never beat the radio) Somehow none of us ever killed ourselves or anyone else. , I remember the local cops carrying my dad into the house PLASTERED! he wrecked the car.Those days are long gone THANK GOD.nowadays, you dont even go boating & drink (another fine R.I. tradition) everyone has cellphones and you will be caught. I don't drink anymore period! Alcohol is the world's greatest solvent... removes everything... cars,wife, kids house,job,bank accounts, dignity... My best wishes I hope this will put an end to your DUI'S.

That sucks bro,,atleast its only for a weekend,,here in Jersey if you get caught driving anything with a motor,,even a lawn tractor and you have a DUI,,,you go to jail.I have a MC,motorized bike,and getting a scoot tomorrow,,I also have a class A cdl,,so I have to be real careful,I only drink at night,,like my 32oz bluemoon once in a while,,but back in the day I would wake up and look out the window,,wondering how I parked my Stang GT so straight next to the old mans caddy...lol..glad those days are gone  Good luck we will see ya soon! they got me three times...the only way for me to stop getting in trouble from drinking was to quit! period. it's been 13yrs now since i had a drink...and got my liecends back after 20 plus years..and owe the state of nj $20.000.00 bucks.. i do not mis it at all.thats the best thing i ever did in life.except having my 8 children.i dont like to preach to any-one but when you get in trouble from drinking it's usally a sign to stop.. wish you luck hope this will teach you somthing.
