That's horrible, Hank! How could this happen?! What kind of low life steals a scooter... Do you have some kind of theft insurance thing? RIP Spectre, may they at least treat your parts well wherever they took you  |

RIP Spectre, may they at least treat your parts well wherever they took you Hi No insurance on that one i do have it on my aprilia though I parked Spectre out side as my garage is filled with my other motor bikes And i always locked him up with a cable lock and disc lock Last night i took him for a ride after dinner came home around 9 and parked the scoot but forgot to use the locks This morning when i got up he was gone I know they will never find this one Its just like the time with my Puma Well its time to go scooter shopping to find a replacement for him Take care and ride safely dear friend Yours Hank |

hank...that is how 4 of ours were stolen. They just picked them up...loaded them in a van or truck. Steering was locked....disc lock on the front...and they still got them...  Sorry to hear this news...  |

I forget my scooter outside all the times, sometimes with the keys in the ignition even. I count myself very, very fortunate for not having my precious scooter stolen from me. It's a real shame you don't have some kind of theft insurance of sorts. Good thing chinese scoots are so cheap, especially on craigslist. Good luck finding a replacement! |

Ah, Hank man, what the (insert expletive here)? To be honest mate, if its happened the same way before and no one got caught, I think some local thieves will actually have you "marked". They'll know you've got bikes, and they'll know to wander past every now and then to have a look if you've forgotten to lock one away again.......... I personally would suggest not buying another bike. Or at least, not buying another bike until you've cleared some space space so all the babies can be locked up safe out of sight. Or if you desperately, just cannot, in any way, control your scooter urges, fit some CCTV and keep the tape/disc in operational condition at all times. Even then, you're only hoping to catch the guy: Ian Attachments:

I am really sorry to hear that you were again the victim of scooter thieves. I hope they catch the scum who stole your scooter but I have my doubts.
