Let's get this out of the way... So another series of unfortunate events has taken place. First I ordered 10 AMBER bulbs on ebay only to receive RED bulbs (which are illegal in my state), then the bracket that holds the top of my muffler on snapped somehow when going for a ride. Then my battery stopped holding a charge... Now all of a sudden I'm leaking oil. I think I can drill another hole on the bracket and then re-bolt it on... I'm thinking about getting a Yuasa 9amp battery, and I know the leaking is caused by a ripped gasket - my gasket had a small tear in it from removing it from the package - boy was it delicate! For 400 miles I had no oil leaking so I thought everything was okay. But then all of a sudden my battery stopped being able to crank my engine and it became twice as difficult to kick start because of the compression, and then all of a sudden that went away and I had leaking oil. Anyone know where to get affordable 50mm bbk gaskets?

I weigh 267lbs and I can go 58mph downhill with 9g weights. ~40+ on flats.
Mods are in the sig.

Clutches, except for the Dr. Pulley performance clutch, are gimmicky.
I use 2k clutch springs, Koso variator, etc. going to get a 1.5k torque spring, and the rest of my stats for my "100cc" bbk are in my sig.
Good luck!

My bike likes to idle high and I use to have trouble keeping the tire from spinning. Then I got new clutch springs so the clutch doesn't engage until it hits a higher rpm. These are different from the Torque spring I'm gonna be givin' you. Now I can even rev my engine without the tire spinning, like a real motorcycle! There's probably a better solution though.

[replyingto=thebeerguy]thebeerguy[/replyingto]100cc kits call for - jetting depending on your intake and exhaust setup. A free flow filter and performance exhaust calls for + usually. This also depends on your elevation and other factors etc. Stock CDI units usually do have a rev limiter which will prevent you from hitting your top speed, you should try getting an unlimited CDI and see if that helps your speeds. I use this one: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008RU3FRA/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

[replyingto=steelace]steelace[/replyingto]That sucks about your Variator, bro. I've been dealing with the same kind of service from just about everywhere lately... Amazon shipping a day late, absolutelyscooters shipping days later, I just wish most of these businesses had the business ethic that Carasdad has. As soon as I paid him he had my camshaft shipped as fast as humanly (maybe robotically...) possible.
I got that spring ready to ship whenever you want, too. I live pretty close to the post office so I'll ship it as soon as possible, after I get the money to pay for the shipping of course, haha.

Been playing Borderlands 2 lately, and there's vehicles, but no scooters... But! There is a guy named "Scooter"!

[replyingto=newbscootdude]newbscootdude[/replyingto]Alright, so you need DYNO based oil, NOT Synthetic (although this is arguable, it's probably the best to use non-synthetic when breaking in an engine). Any 4t motorcycle oil should do. 10w40 is standard.
You need to change the oil at 100 miles, 300 miles, then 600 miles. If there's still metal bits after 600 miles then you need to change the oil frequently, like every 100-300 miles, but if there are no metal bits then you continue with the regular oil change schedule of about 1000 miles.

I'll judge this one based on my experience in video games... Typically zombie games were suspenseful, slow-paced, and were typically designed to have you at the edge of your seat. Nowadays, like in Resident Evil 5, zombies just charge at you like olympic runners... Now, there is also a variety of zombies and zombie types. You got the Boomer, which explodes pus on impact: Then you got Hunters which are stealthy ninja-like zombies: Then you got the brutish Tank zombie: That's just to name a few zombies. When it comes to Mummies, well they've always been a boring foe. From Ultima Online to Terraria they're just slow moving tanks that don't do that much damage, but can withstand a barrage of attacks. And while a mummy could be something like a powerful pharoah, that doesn't necessarily denote masculinity. Hatshepsut, Nefertiti, Cleopatra... These were all powerful pharoahs, they were also female. I don't know about you, but some chick in bondage is most definitely not my idea of "Macho". I gotta give it to the Zombies.

According to Millsc I need a big valve head to properly utilize the A9 cam... But I planned on getting both eventually. Would it make any noticable difference without the big valve head? And how does the A9 compare to TVNacman's camshaft? www.testedscooterparts.com/product_info.php?cPath=1_5_442&products_id=10567132If I want faster acceleration am I better off with the A9 or John's? Especially sans the big valve head as I won't have money for that for a while...

[replyingto=domindart]domindart[/replyingto]I think they're all animated by the same guy, but the singing and such varies. Like the Savlonic videos are all animated by Weebl, but the music is played by the band Savlonic. I just realized The Driver by Savlonic features a scooter in the music video

[replyingto=domindart]domindart[/replyingto]Ah, Roadrash... the memories... I played all the ones for Sega Genesis, Playstation, and N64. Good games. Not sure if they have a newer one.
I really wish they had a scooter based game... They have all kinds of motorcycle and sport bike games, but no regular scooter 50-250cc games. Even those razor scooters have their own video game. I'd kill to be able to do a virtual bbk to smoke people on the highway in video game form, it would just be so satisfying...

[replyingto=jerseyboy]jerseyboy[/replyingto]Hey, Tom.
Funny story... My brother's father, who worked as a cable installer in Oregon, went to his step mother's house one day and his step mother was in the neighbor's house and didn't recognize him so she called the police. Needless to say he knew his way inside the house... So, the police came and searched his van and found duct tape and Zip Ties.
In Oregon that counted as all kinds of charges like attempted assault, sexual assault, attempted kidnapping, etc. Long story short he got no less than five years in prison for "breaking and entering" and for having the zip ties.
I love my zip ties, but I'm scared to death to drive with them because of that story, haha.
It's a fishy story and I'm sure there's more to it, because that's coming straight from the guy's mouth. Still makes me paranoid about zip ties, especially the big ones.
