I have, but also will want to do the front rim as well, and I'm not sure if that will fit my scooter.
I have a Kymco Agility 125, with a standard 150cc GY6 engine (swapped out the old motor when it clunked out).

^Not too sure about that one. Looks like that rim is made for the 50s. My engine is a 150. Need something with the larger 130mm drum center.

Does anyone know where I can pick up a 12" rear rim for drum brakes? I'm having a hard time finding a decent rear rim of that size. I need to replace mine because it is bent thanks to a pot hole.
Engine is a standard 157QMJ.
Any links/references appreciated.

Did it come with the rubber seal attached, or must that be bought seperately?

While that is true, a lot of people in this state owned mopeds that didn't come with any paperwork at all, no Bill of Sale, Title, or Registration. As such most people will write a bill of sale containing the seller's name/buyer's name/seller's address, contact info, and signature which satisfies DMV I sold my E-Ton Beamer doing the same thing (under the same circumstances) and they were able to get it titled/registered/plated just fine.
I will commend the DMV for it's leniency on that because it would've negatively impacted scooter riders otherwise, but personally despise the recent changes because they do not provide protections for those that legitimately buy a scooter second-hand, only to find out it was reported stolen. They also didn't provide extra on-road protections for scooter riders which are sorely needed here. Virginia had the highest number of motorcycle-related deaths last year, and they weren't because they were on their cell phones!

I was watching some scooter ride vids on the Tube when I saw this video of the new Tao Tao Quantum. Boy is that one sexy scooter... Then did a Google photo search for these and saw some pics... www.solanocycle.com/New-Inventory-2014-TaoTao-Scooter-Quantum-Tour-150-St.-Augustine-Florida-617371It has: The similar agressive styling of a Kymco Super 8 (from the side). DIGITAL Speedometer and Fuel Guage WITH a tachometer. LED turn signals and headlights. (What appears to be) Very good storage. And now, I want one more than I want more than the BWS 150 or Genuine Hooligan. I think I've found my next scooter!

Thanks for the suggestions. It seems like all but one part (the exhaust) will be ordered from Scrappydogscooters. I found some sellers on Ebay who sell the exhaust for less, so I'll buy there.
I'm doing a full CVT replacement. New belt, performance variator (w/ 5g sliders), tranny gears, and clutch with red springs. Not sure if I want to do a 1.5K or 2-grander torque spring with it.

NOTE: This was also posted in the 2-Stroke section, but I know not too many regulars on here pay attention to that section. I posted it here for that reason. Good afternoon all... I just recently bought a 2006 E-Ton Beamer Matrix II, 50cc 2-stroke. This is my VERY first 2-stroke scooter I've actually owned, and it runs quite amazingly for its age. Then again, it only has 4,386 miles (as of this post). I created this thread to seek suggestions on parts as I plan to make a few mods to this scooter such as: 1. Either a 44 or 47mm BBK, whichever is the largest that can fit W/O splitting or machining cases. 2. Carb replacement 3. Reed valve replacement (saw some aluminum Reed valves on Scrappydogscooters) 4. "Expansion Chamber" pipe 5. Final drive gear upgrade 6. Clutch replacement (clutch slippage is MAJOR on this scoot, gonna replace with performance clutch) 7. CDI Replacement, if needed (according to the owner's manual, the scooter has "electronic speed limiting devices". I assume they're talking about the CDI). I'd like to know some good places to buy the above parts or if some parts are acceptable to keep as is along with good suggestions to keep this two-stroke in good shape.

well it's not random popping or sputtering sounds like i said it's just pupupupupupupupupupupupupupu. it's consent when not accl. i don't know if that is still "a popping sound." actually i found this. this is my model scooter and the same pipe and you can hear the pupupupupu i mean. Is your PAIR emissions system still intact? If so, that's probably the causes of the "pupupu". The PAIR system consists of an air canister tank in the front (under your foot board) that sucks in air into the exhaust to "clean" the gases. It may make those "putts" each time you ease the throttle and will either be a quiet "putt" or a gunshot "putt". Regardless, that is normal and will do no damage, but can be annoying. Removing the PAIR system will solve the problem, but I suggest checking your state laws about emission controls before removing it.

I'd be suspicious. I'd want to see it run before I take it home. As a rule of thumb, I've had people drive it over to me or meet me in a public area so I can see it'll at least run.
I bought my Kymco from someone on Craigslist for $425. The seller rode it over to my house and let me do a THOROUGH test drive and inspection before I bought it. I bought it right on the spot afterwards.

TMS Full-faced helmet
Rev-IT! armored/insulated gloves
Brama steel-toe boots (with Dr. Scholls inserts), but I wear those everywhere except home.
Some "homemade" neck warmers I made out of some very old sweat pants
I usually wear one of my thicker jackets when it's cold. When the weather's warm, I keep one in case of rain.

Another reason to be amazed at the awesome Tawainese quality... Yep! Last night (03-09/14), Metreaus turned 25. 25,000kms (between two owners, me and the previous) later, and it still holds its ground. Before it turned 25, I rode down south to Petersburg to burn up some time and get back out after being sick for a few days. What a difference a scooter ride makes! And now to replace tires...

If you aren't really concerned with looks, get the Honda. It's a good, basic scooter that doesn't try to bite off more than it can chew. Cornering clearance though, ouch...
The Yamaha may have the better ride quality given the fat, sporty tires and more "agressive" handling. Also, the engine should be 3-valved on the Yamaha, giving you some extra power if needed.
I have friends who own one or the other, so I've been able to test drive them. Also, YMMV depending on the load (your weight + cargo, like a backpack) and the terrain. Richmond's streets aren't the best and I'm an overweight brotha (about 300lbs), so if you're lighter than that and ride on smoother roads, the ride quality will be a world's difference.
