Good afternoon all... I just recently bought a 2006 E-Ton Beamer Matrix II, 50cc 2-stroke. This is my VERY first 2-stroke scooter I've actually owned, and it runs quite amazingly for its age. Then again, it only has 4,386 miles (as of this post). I created this thread to seek suggestions on parts as I plan to make a few mods to this scooter such as: 1. Either a 44 or 47mm BBK, whichever is the largest that can fit W/O splitting or machining cases. 2. Carb replacement 3. Reed valve replacement (saw some aluminum Reed valves on Scrappydogscooters) 4. "Expansion Chamber" pipe 5. Final drive gear upgrade 6. Clutch replacement (clutch slippage is MAJOR on this scoot, gonna replace with performance clutch) 7. CDI Replacement, if needed (according to the owner's manual, the scooter has "electronic speed limiting devices". I assume they're talking about the CDI). I'd like to know some good places to buy the above parts or if some parts are acceptable to keep as is along with good suggestions to keep this two-stroke in good shape.

Scrappy dog is good. I ordered from them before. I had an issue with a belt other than that their parts seem to be good quality. Shipping seems to be fast. Parts for scooters I heard is good but haven't ordered from them. Racing Planet I also heard is good. If you are replacing the clutch, you should check your belt and roller weights for wear.

Thanks for the suggestions. It seems like all but one part (the exhaust) will be ordered from Scrappydogscooters. I found some sellers on Ebay who sell the exhaust for less, so I'll buy there.
I'm doing a full CVT replacement. New belt, performance variator (w/ 5g sliders), tranny gears, and clutch with red springs. Not sure if I want to do a 1.5K or 2-grander torque spring with it.

stiffer torque springs are good for hills, but if your ridding on flat land then use a lite spring.

You can go up to a 47.6mm BBK with out boring the case . You can get a complete kit like this power kit A BBK , larger carb and a pipe with expansion chamber can do wonders . Some use a 10mm wristpin others a 12mm so measure before buying . I like how your bike can use wide tires instead of the 10x3.5 like many small scoots use
