I use to park my 250cc scooter on the sidewalk, but it was in a small town of 2000 people. Cops never bothered me. Neighbor parked his 1800cc Harley on the sidewalk too. It depends where you are located( small towns don't mind but big cities do)..

Bought Roketa MC-13-250 scooter in February 2008, new from Extreme-scooters.com for $1700-.. 6700 miles Cost over past 5 years- 1 front tire $60, 2 rear tires $120, 5 fuel filters $10, 2 air filters $20, changed fuel line $15, vacuum lines $10, covered seat $20, added saddlebags $70, 4 spark plugs $30, 2 batteries $120, 1 rectifier $30, 2 helmets $130, grease $10, 6 quarts oil $30, decals $30, paint $15, pinstripes $10, led lights $15, Total $745- Insurance paid $309+ when blown over by storm.. $18 per month full coverage for 5 years $1080- $771 Total out Gasoline 70 mpg divided into 6700 miles= 96 gallons over 5 years. And $3 per gallon being the average price- $287 out.. So $1700 + $745 + $771 + 287=$3503 out and divide into miles 6700 mean I got 1.91 miles per every dollar added to scooter. Got to remember this is with cost of scooter and everything. Attachments:

Can bleed using a bungy cord to wrap around brake lever, so when you open the line, the bundy cord acts like a hand and constricts the lever. Pretty easy to bleed brakes this way..

No, Roketa motorcycles will last one, if they are taken care of properly. Meaning no stunts, no over the speed limit racing, ect.. Just ride to enjoy it. Hear the manuals are worthless on the motorcycles as they were on the scooters. A joke.. Like the manual may say, use this type of oil, but the oil dipstick it says a different type only. Same with tires, manual says one size but tires say another( better go by the tire size..lol). But if you every owned a Chinese motorcycle, you know all this stuff. Check bolts and screws before taking out on the road, to make sure everything is tight. Hate to have a major component fall off while riding- like the foot gear shifter.

My wife got a little Zuma 50cc 2 stroke with 57 miles on it, when we sold our house to our neighbors. It did not have a title- lost by the neighbor. But anyhow, my wife traded it off for a brand new Honda Rebel, without a title on the Zuma. This was to a dealer in motorcycles. It just shows that a 50cc can be traded anywhere.. Here is her Rebel.. D8 The major problem with 50cc scooters, is most States don't require Registration. So like if I lived in Kansas City, Kansas and stole a 50cc scooter, drove to Kansas City Missouri and sold it for $200, with no title( Missouri law does not make one title it). Theoredically police do very little to recover a 50cc scooter. It is not their number one agenda.. People paint them. Cops really don't pull over people riding 50cc scooters, unless they suspect something( running drugs, riding drunk, no signaling, blown headlamp, ect).. Cops just don't have time.. In Missouri, it would be easy to steal a 50cc scooter from one town and sale it in another. Most people don't keep the vin number.
