Does anyone know of a place that sells a REAL paper element type filter for gy6 Engines. Or even if anyone knows of how to get a hold of a company that is looking to make a new product that could tell them to make this.
The little screen "filters" in our engines suck. They don't filter out anything and if someone made a little paper element that went inside of out engines in place of the "filter" we have now I would definitely buy it and I have a feeling a lot more people than just me would want one too.

What is the silver bottle? It's my catch can. Since I have a free flow air filter the Valve cover breather hose doesn't have anywhere to plug in and it spits oil all over if its not plugged into something. So I took an old beer bottle sanded the paint off of it and put a brass fitting in the side and plugged the breather hose into that and now any oil gets caught in the can. I also welded a hose clamp to the frame for easy removal when I need to dump the oil out. And a hose clamp looks better than zip ties. Lol

This is very cool so you bought both and used the 150cc engine in the 50cc body or what? Yes.

But it starts with starting fluid so I don't think the OP's problem is with spark. Its a fuel problem

If the EGR system is functioning properly I wouldn't think it would make really any difference. Its to prevent detonation when using lower octane fuels and clean up emissions a bit.

Has anyone installed one of those fan shroud air scoops on their scoot? I am going to make a home made one for my scoot and post my results here but I was wondering if anyone else has used one and what they had found. Right now I am running about 230 to 265 in 60 to 75 degree weather. The hotter temp being when it is warmer.

Thats a factory 150cc exhaust. I have one on my scoot. It has 2 large bands that go around it to secure it. It does sound alright but the outlet on the muffler is not as big as it looks in that picture. That is just an outer chrome cover. The actual outlet in 3/4" at most. probably closer to 1/2" or 5/8

If you let it sit for the whole two weeks then maybe. But if your riding it frequently you should never have to charge it. Sounds like you have a stator/charging issue.

My 49cc was like that. I put it on with a gasket and never had a problem. But it's not gonna hurt to grind it down either

I had the same thing happen to me last year. I had to work at it for a bit to get it off. Even now when I go to pull it off it gets hung up a bit.

that looks like a cold air getting into the hot cylinder type of damage to me, the way the metal looks all wrinkly and wavy Looks more like the a piece of the valve broke off and got smashed around to me.
