What not to do. Switch from 16g rollers to 10g sliders. My Wolf v150 revs way to much at low speeds.... but now it can wheelie! Going to 12g Koso sliders. Luckily the 10g dr.pulleys were free. Had no idea what came stock and now I can do it right. Also changed the main jet to a 112 which the importer said was stock, funny the jet I took out was a 105. Live and learn.

The extra torque from the BBK will take care of the hills. Don't mess with the roller weights until after you do the big bore.

What a great deal. Wanted a Rough house bad but here they run $2400. Bought a Wolf V 150 for $1750 from a local dealer who really provides great service and warranty

Scooter motors spend a lot of time at high rpm. They are no lawn mower engines. You can buy a gallon of 5w40 synthetic shell rotella t6 for $22. Kymco recommend full synthetic. Genuine recommends full synthetic for their 2 strokes. Since both of these companies provide 2 year warranties I would bet synthetic oil provides better protection at start up and continuos high rpm use. No dollar store oil for me. My scooter only takes about .75 lt. Dino oil today has all kinds of additives but even modern cars are needing semi or full synthetic if you expect the manufacturer to foot the bill for the engine while its under warranty. After the first oil change its synthetic for me

You should have bought a Smax Yamaha. Liquid cooled 4 valve head and 15 hp vs 8. But I bought a V150 but also gave a Yamaha R3. If you have a motorcycle license and don't mind shifting scooters just don't offer the performance you're used to.

Seems like most of us, me included don't like stepped seats that force you to sit forward and don't allow scooting back. This design is intentional. Since most scooters engines, fuel tanks, and rear drive are biased to the rear, the rider needs to sit forward to put more weight on the front wheel for safety and handling

I really like the S max but in the US the Honda Pcx 150 is being rebated from $3449 to $3049 MSRP. Guess I'll be buying the Honda 2015 model. I think the S max is $3649. The price difference will pay my insurance for several years

JR, Doug, JerryScript, skuttadawg, JoeyBee, earlwb,@ I own a Wolf 150 Blaze and it will accelerate to 40 mph in two blocks and 60 in four blocks. It was 12" wheels so it feels a little nervous at 55. Granted the speedos are optimistic. It's perfect for running to the store. I live in a small city and don't fear being run over as I did on a 72cc scooter. Bought it new for $1500 and we have a local dealer for service. Bintelli sells a similar model. Both come with a 12 month warranty. Oil changes are simple

JR , Doug , JerryScript , skuttadawg , JoeyBee , earlwb , Only 189 miles. Bought a leftover 2012 new. It is very quick and powerful but since most of my riding in Roanoke city, VA I am using my Wolf 150 more. The Kymco is water cooled, fuel injected, and has stainless steel brake lines for both front and rear disc brakes. Asking $3200. Just installed a Puig windshield that works great.

The Kymco people gt300i weighs 364 and is fast enough for interstates. The selection of used scooters around here stinks. Since the Kymco had sat at the dealer for 2 years, they sold it to me for $3400, about what a used Vespa 300 that's 4 years old is listed for on Craigslist. Very happy with the Kymco and a Wolf Blaze 150 that my wife will ride but the 150 is my favorite downtown for errands

Just got scooter number 3 it's a 300 and that's big enough. No maxi scooters for me as they are heavier than motorcycles plus I don't ride on interstates except in my car

I've owned a 49 and 150 scooter built by them and so far so good. Is any one familiar with CSC motorcycles which is importing a small street legal dual sport and now a liquid cooled adventure bike also 250cc. If it is the ride is for scooters only please just disregard my post. I ride my scooters more than my motorcycle but basically all 2 wheel motorized vehicles are my addiction, a good one to have

Keep in mind a 49cc 4 stroke has a hard time maintaining speed on any kind of hills. They are good in the city but have a hard time keeping up with traffic. Be prepared to get passed by cars a lot

I'd check out Bintelli and Wolf scooter websites. They are built by Znen and have upgraded components and a dealer network and warranty. I've owned both brands and the 50cc models are about $900 plus about $150 frt and set up.
