I already Had a Nelson rigg expandable 22L tail bag I used on my R3. Was $80 and doubles as a backpack. Think it's 13x11x9 and holds enough for me. Use a messenger bag if I tote my laptop. But definitely the rack was not designed for top cases. Must be because a topcase would self destruct on the dirt roads, just kidding

Just bought an Adly Bullseye that requires JASO FC or Api rated TC synthetic oil. Bought some Amsoil Interceptor 2 cycle oil from a local Amsoil distributor for less than $8 a quart. Local shops selling Motul or Klotz wanted over $13 a quart. Amsoil offers less expensive synthetics for 2 strokes but those are not recommended for scooters. Their HP synthetic is TC rated but not recommended for scooters and is less money but my Adly only uses about a half pint in 100 miles so I bought the higher priced Interceptor oil the second round. The HP did not foul the plug and my scoot ran fine. I bought the HP first as I figured if it was synthetic and for injection, I was fine

Needless to say, it will void the new scooter warranty, but small price to pay. Installing an expansion chamber next week. Also a new rear shock as the poor original one is overtaxed even with my 175 pound carcass. Will let you all know how it works out. Single shocks on 49cc scooters are ridiculous. They should have two as they can't use a true mono shock suspension like moto crossers and sport bikes use. Anyhow loving the scooter and have a little money to throw at it and half the fun of owning a scooter is modding it

There are two screws on 2 stroke carbs, mixture and throttle stop. They are not CV carbs. But there is no such thing as one screw for high speed and one for low. I think chainsaws which use a diaphragm type carb have these, not scooters

The mixture screw is closest to the carb at the cylinder head. If the idle speed is the problem, turn the throttle stop screw clockwise to increase idle speed. That screw is further back on the carb. Directly under the throttle slide. Why do you need to adjust the carb?

if I haven't messed with the intake side, do I have to rejet my Adly bullseye 50? If you have actually used this exhaust, I'd appreciate your input. If you haven't, I don't need opinions. Actual installation is more accurate. In my experience racing air cooled 125 Yamaha MX bikes, they were jetted a little rich from the factory. Of course that was in 1970. Otherwise I'll install the pipe and see how it runs and do a plug check

I do the same thing when I replace the exhaust on my Ford Focus. Luckily I have some really strong neighbors who work for Beers

Sounds great and weighs 5 pounds. Only took ten days to ship and and hour to replace. Needed to buy a couple of longer bolts and a small metal flat.

Should I pre lube the cam bearings and lobes with engine oil or gear oil prior to install? Or just put it in and keep the rpm low for 3 to 5 minutes before riding it? Thanks from those who have replaced their cam and have experience
