I haven't adjusted a carb with low and high speed screws for a very long time. I'm working on a 2007 Hyosung SD50 scooter. Still looking for a diagram of which screw is the low and the high. I'm mainly concerned about adjusting it too lean and damaging the engine. Can someone give me a refresher on how to adjust a carb with high and low speed screws?

Air screw sits further out the carb the other screw should not be touched. It's flush with the engine.
In = less air rich out leaner = more 1/8 turn at a time never should exceed 2.5 turns out if it's more then that adjust your throttle cable needle clip which should be half of your needle clip if it has 4 slits you should be optimal between 2 and 3 position.
If she is a 5 caliper 3rd and 4th position.
Needle clip: moving the c clip down the needle richens mixture moving it up leans the mixture at the throttle cable.
Carbs don't use two screws anymore they stick a screw that looks like a screw but is not a needle type.
If it does do anything it can possiably richen the fuel mixture a tiny bit in China carbs we learned not to touch it the fuel mixture screw controls as the air fuel mixture screw with the needle is all you need unless it runs rich on said selection where e clip and needle runs best under the throttle cable.
If richness is apparent "then you should be backing off your needle clip height(UP THE CLIP ON THE NEEDLE) to LEAN the operation then then adjust the fuel mixture no more then 2 full turns out from it's sitting position bottomed out.
After its set your tire will possiably be free spinning at this rate you want to turn your idle screw down stop turning soon as its rough idling then turn 1/8th up.
Ride her check them plugs no white ashy, no oily dark black you want coffee brown.

The mixture screw is closest to the carb at the cylinder head. If the idle speed is the problem, turn the throttle stop screw clockwise to increase idle speed. That screw is further back on the carb. Directly under the throttle slide. Why do you need to adjust the carb?

There are two screws on 2 stroke carbs, mixture and throttle stop. They are not CV carbs. But there is no such thing as one screw for high speed and one for low. I think chainsaws which use a diaphragm type carb have these, not scooters
