I figure if I change the oil and rear end lubricant every 1000 miles, keep a battery tender hooked up, use gas stabilizer, and do valve adjustments I should be OK. I don't mind doing this stuff myself as I've been riding and maintaining my motorcycles for about 40 years. I'll let the dealer do the initial 500 mile service and keep receipts and records for what I do. May change the lubricants at 250 miles as these little motors are running pretty hard all the time and are air cooled. I don't put a lot of stock in warranties but the fact Bintelli offers one shows they think they have a reliable scooter.

I'm sure this is heresy but may sell my Triumph 900 Scrambler, teach my wife to ride a Bintelli 50, and buy a 150 Bintelli Scorch. Yeah, I'm losing it at age 65. My first bike was a Honda step thru 50 my Dad let me buy so he didn't have o drive me to my Summer job at 7am 6 days a week. Now that I live in a small city, scooters make a lot of sense.

Glad to hear the Bintellis are decent as I am picking up a Prime 50 for my wife and maybe a Scorch 150 for me later.

Last scooter I owned was a 1964 Vespa. Picking up a Bintelli Prime 49 Friday. I'm totally psyched. The info on this site helped me decide to scoot. Thanks to all of you!

Ordered a Bintelli Prime 49 from a local repair motorcycle shop with a good rep. Will let you know how it works out. If I have a good experience, I will give it to my wife and buy a 150 Scorch as I have a motorcycle endorsement. I've owned about forty motorcycles and live in a small pop ,000 city so I'm ready for a new type of transport. My Triumph Scrambler weighs 500 pounds and I'm hitting old age so downsizing seems right. It also seems oil changes and valve adjustments are like I used to do with tappets and locknuts, not shims and buckets or disassembling the whole bike for maintenance.

The Kymco Agility models are produced in China. All major automobile manufacture vehicles in China. Personally if I buy a Bintelli or Wolf for a reasonable price I don't care if it lasts 20000 miles. I guess a Chevy built in China would blow up within a year or two. Buying a Bintelli with local dealer service and have no worries. All this lack of quality debate and prejudice reminds me of the bad rep Japanese cars had in the 60's. I especially like the bashing by people who never bought a Znen scooter. Hope they don't own a Apple phone.

I see too many Tao Tao scooters on Craigslist for $350 to consider one. From what I've researched online Bintelli scooters have a warranty, better components, and luckily I have a local dealer. I'm willing to pay $949 plus frieight and set up for something made in China by Znen. Call me stupid but I will never buy anything gas powered over the internet. I also won't buy a scooter if when I can't fix it, no local shop will work on it. I've thrown money away before and finally learned my lesson. Should get a Prime 50 next week and will update my opinion.
