Bintelli has a good reputation I believe the owner of the company posts here occasionally. I don't have any first hand experience though

Bintelli is made by Znen, it's a Chinese scooter. There is plenty of information about Chinese scooters, and more specifically about Znen.
How much does the scooter cost? The logical thing to do is to compare the price with a "budget" Taiwanese model. No matter how they try to market Bintelli, it's still Chinese made with inferior quality metal. "Dressing it up" with Halogen bulbs, a Gates belt and a NGK spark plug isn't going to change that fact (a Taiwanese scooter will have that stuff anyway!). Neither is a warranty that requires the dealer to be involved in everything including oil changes. How much more is that gonna cost?
The last 6 scooters I've owned and ridden (3 Sym's, 1 Honda, 1 Yamaha, 1 CPI) all outlasted the warranty period without one issue, and never had a single problem as long as I owned any of them. If this track record doesn't convince someone to spend a few extra hundred dollars, then the world is further gone than I thought...
Kymco Agility 50 or 125 Lance Cali Classic 50 or 125 / Havana 50 or 125 Tomos Nitro 50 or 125 CPI Oliver City 50cc two-stroke
I checked online and saw the Bintelli Flash for $1299. The Taiwanese scooters I listed above range in price from $1499 to $1999. There is no reason in the world not to invest $200 more for a machine that's in an entirely different class as far as quality and durability are concerned.

I live in Bradenton Justin. I found the old board from here and a lot of the good comments about the Bintelli decided me.. It seems to have a good warranty and a years roadside service those plus the fact the company is based here in Florida is what tipped the scales for me. The guys at Manatee Scooters really worked with me to give me all I wanted and still keep it under my budget. I'll add saddlebags etc. later and I think it will be a perfect ride to get me around town.

Sounds great! Manatee is a great dealer that will support you with no question. As you mentioned, we are just up the road in Gainesville so if you ever need anything - let us know. Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy your new scooter! Welcome to the family!

I have visted a Bintelli dealer in Jacksonville, FL and those scooters look amazing! Not sure if all dealers offer this but Jaguar Powersports in Jacksonville, FL offers 2 year warranty and 1 year road side assistance. Justin could probably answer if others offer that type of service!

That is what mine came with. Roadside service was a major plus for me because I know nothing about scooters so if it ever doesn't start I wouldn't have a clue what to do. The guys at Manatee were great though. There was 3 of them there answering all my questions. Before I left they assured me if I have any more questions to just stop in.
Thank you!

(for you do not know of what you speak) I HAVE a Znen scooter and the engine is quite nice (Made from the finest virgin Tsingtao aluminum!) and I'm certain that not all Chinese manufacturers have (as you claim) such low quality standards. I'll bet if you talked to an owner of ...oh say, a CF Moto echarm you might just get a difference of opinion. Where the Chinese need to concentrate their efforts is in fit and finish. (particularly secondary systems and the frame.) A 20% increase in QC at the plant, and China will bury the competition. Soon the "Big Three" in the motorcycle/scooter game will be CF Moto-Linhai-Znen!

Hi DX My Puma Cycles Angel was built by Znen and was top notch in performance fit and finish and customer service As Spandi stated not all Chinese scooter manufacturers are the same, some are getting very good and close to rivaling name brand scoots Take care and ride safely Yours Hank

Galaxi, I live in Gainesville. I know Bintelli is based here in Gainesville as well, but I don't have experience with them. If they're Znen though then I'm sure they're great. My scooter is made by Gorilla Motorworks purchased from New Scooters 4 Less in Gainesville and it is also a Znen scooter. To the people suggesting Kymco. Yes, Kymco makes a great scooter. Our local Kymco dealer here in Gainesville does not have a good word of mouth reputation though. I've never been there personally, but I was considering getting a People GT 300i and made a post on the Modern Vespa forums (because I'm also considering a BV 350) and I had 3 different people pm me telling me to stay away from there. I've seen people on the Gainesville Reddit mention they had a bad experience there as well. However, I don't want to get into "dealer bashing" on the forum. Galaxi, I'm actually selling my scooter. It's a 150cc. You can see my Craigslist ad for info. Not sure if you'd be interested but thought I'd let you know just in case. I work at Shands so I'm on campus a lot. I see a lot of Bentelli scooters around. It might not be a Honda, but I think it'd work pretty well for you.

I am not saying all Chinese scooters are a total P.O.S. like a $695 internet special. But the fact remains, even the so called "better" Chinese scooter (like Znen is supposed to be) does not use the same grade metal as Taiwanese or Japanese scooter manufacturers.
Plain and simple, mile for mile a Kymco, Genuine or Sym engine will on average far outlast anything Chinese manufactured. Some of these Taiwanese offer budget models that are assembled in China to cut labor costs. If they are making the effort to lower the price, why then do they still use Taiwanese manufactured engines? If a Chinese engine is just as good, why would they not use that and offer even a lower price? There's a very good reason for that, and you guys know it.
Are Chinese scooters much improved these days? Maybe. Will a Chinese scooter offer reasonable service life? Well, compared to what they used to be, if you think reaching 10k-15k is good, then yes. But now that a "budget" Taiwanese scooter only costs 25% - 50% more than a "better" Chinese scooter, and it will last at least 2 to 3 times longer, how are you saving money (and time) with a Znen?
Really, it's simple math...

How's 26,610 Chinese scooter miles for "simple math"?
...or this for quality?

Justin could probably answer if others offer that type of service! Yes, EVERY Bintelli Scooter sold in the USA comes with a 2 year limited warranty and 1 year of free roadside assistance. To my knowledge, we are the only distributor of scooters in our price range ($999-$1699) that includes a warranty and roadside assistance of this nature. It's because we have a quality product and stand behind them 100%. Everyone have a great weekend!
