I want to remove the "ABS" from my front brakes. Will the banjo bolt that is already on the scoot work or do i need to get a diferent one? and also how should i go about getting the fluid out and re priming the system. I want to do it right the first time and not have to mess with it constantly. Can anyone helpout?

Got my new starter clutch in and both tools to do the job. Is there any tips or tricks anyone would like to share on getting it out and getting the new one in? Ive watched all the videos out there. Is there a specific one that you would use? Thanks for any input. To be honest i dont want to do it but i know i can and will do it this weekend, Just looking for tips.

Sounds good thank you! Yah i layed my scoot over on its side and it messed up all the stripes and stickers on it. i was able to pull off all the stickers but they were under the clearcoat. So ive got alot of sanding in my near future. haha. But i cant stand the way it looks with the lowers areas of the sticker. I think i might try the kylon paint also. I would really like not to have to prime it...

Has anyone here thought about making a facebook page for all of us scooter riders? I think it would do alot of good. People could post pics and vids of things they are doing daily. Just thought i would throw it out there. Let me know if this is not the place for this.

It usually is best to hold on to it for parts. Because you could use lots of things on there. I would for sure keep it.

I had the same problem on my tao tao 150 and it was that the evap canister was not working properly and it was making the scooter flood out. The evap vacuum is on the intake and needs to be removed and capped off. Try that and see what happens. I that helps just remove the avap canister and your set and ready to go. Just dont forget to cap off the vacuum line going to the evap canister.

Be careful getting a new carb. I got one online and the main jet was WAY to small for my scoot. Just something to look at.

It could be that the float is not filling completly up. That means you are not getting the fuel the carb needs. Very common problem on off road trucks when they get at a weird angle, it can mess up the ability for the carb to fuel the engine. I would take the carb off and take the bowl off hold the carb level and when you move the float it should top out the needle when the float is level. I noticed that on our carbs the float tops out when its level. so just make sure the needle is not topping out before the float is level. Just a thought.
