I replaced the 40 idle jet with a 45 and it starts and idles much better with a BBK as before it would stall or idle too high and had to adjust as the temps changed . I have ran a 120 MJ with BBK , pipe and Uni and it seems to like a 105 MJ too. Most use Mikuni VM 11/22 main jets like here www.scrappydogscooters.com/50cc_2stroke_Performance.html or at www.power-barn.com

Call me as I need taller gears . Even with 8 grams I can hit 9k up a steep hill with a rolling start

Place a small gas jug on the rear with a bungee cord . I have saw gas an d 2T oil premixed at 50to1 and it says its good for a year or so in a bottle at Oreilys where the 2T oil is

Why selling them ? Were they not tallenough or too tall ? How do they perform on take off , uphill and top end ? What gram weights did you use with em ?

I hit a possum going 50 MPH on my Echarm . Luckily I just clipped it rather than head on .
The 10s are not stable at top speed . I love my Magnum with fat doughnuts 130/60/13s as it handles and rides so much better and I feel safer on it . Strong wind and uneven road patches and cracks would get sketchy with 10s and 16s but never once with the wider 13s

I was used to motorcycles and mopeds with taller wheels as my first scooter ride felt weird with a shorter wheelbase and tires . Being small it is so nimble on those with 10s but not stable at top speeds compared to those with larger wheels . I later bought that scooter and put thousands of happy miles on it . I have been 160 MPH and my TaoTao and even my Echarm has made me more noid at times than goung that fast . My 2T with 13s is very safe and stable as to where I can ride with no hands and not be worried at all

I have just over 16k on my CFMoto Echarm only mods are NGK iridium and Dr Pulley sliders . Was gentle at first then did a midrange break in . Does not leak or use oil and change it and gear oil every 1,000 miles . I always let mine warm up prior to riding , more so in the winter . Had a single valve adjustment at 2,200 miles . I can trot at 50 MPH , cruise at 60 and it used to hit 75 but not hits 70 MPH . Used Shell Rotella but not use Castrol Synblend 10w40 . Put in a cap full of Sea Foam every other fill up

Why did you go with 8 grams ? Mine came with 8 and I went with 5g . Yes sliders do perform much better than rollers . How many miles on that setup ? Rollers develop flat spots from wear and will make rattle noise . The headlight was too dim for me to see at night . Would be great to replace the rear shock with a nitrogen one instead of oil type . I hope you have a good belt on it .
Replace the valves stems as mine would leak

Reminds me of my youth as a couple of buddies had one as I was riding a Honda Urban Express and later a ton of pedal types as my father and I bought up all of a local shops surplus as he wanted to get out mopeds and focus more on Husvarna TT racers . No air filter it will be too lean to run , bog beyond usable , and get dirt into the carb . Finding an original airbox may be hard to do and you might opt for a Uni or K&N style or other after market one . Remove the jets and see if they are listed on the chart www.jetsrus.com/FAQs/FAQ_identify_that_jet.htm as you surely want to go up a bit larger but just lil bit . I tried a larger main jet on a Tomos Golden Bullet and it actually went slower as it was stock . These type do not have a CVT and most are slow on take off but have better performance at midrange and get killer MPG as you can run WOT all day long , but go slow up hill . Make sure to use decent 2T oil instead of weed eater junk . I like Maxxima 2T synthetic blend as its around 10 a quart and barely smokes when you do a cold start , where when I ran weedeater stuff as a pup it would leave a com trail and foul out the plug . A simple remove and hit with carb spray and wipe clean and check the gap was under 5 minutes as most are in the open with no cover or panel to remove . I would inspect the chain and cogs for wear . May get lucky and find OEM parts and unsure if you can get choices in teeth amounts on these unlike MX motorcycles have plenty . The frame is light and ok for a light rider but may need tweaking for hot rod mods and a heavy rider . What is the engine stamp code ? These are great for around the block or short trip rides , as well as on college campuses , way more reliable than a Chinese scooter , but limited on power and speed . If you could find a pipe with an expansion chamber and maybe do custom porting with a Dremel and CF or FG reeds and again more upjetting might be able to get more RPMs out of it . Here is more links www.sip-scootershop.com/en/main/base/home.aspx www.mopedarmy.com/ www.mhr-usa.com/What would be cool if you could find and more so if it would fit with no or little mods , Tomos made a 2 speed auto tranny that shifted like a Chevy Powerglide . I had 3 of em and take off and uphill was better except a not so steep hill it would shift up and down more than it should . Hope you get it going and post with happy news

You can put a lock through the D rings along with a cable but the straps have been known to get cut by thieves and ( censored )s . With a large rear trunk you may be able to fit your helmet an other stuff like gloves and a jacket in it . My Coocase trunk is hardwired for the optional alarm kit www.coocase.com . I have carried my FF helmet and gloves with me as I do not trust anyone and I always Fort Knox my scooter with 4 locks , as locks are cheaper than a scooter and thieves want a quick and easy grab and go rather than have to use power tools as my locks are beyond bolt cutters . Many stores will put it behind the counter so you do not have to lug it in a store

You have a 2T exhaust on a 150 4T ? How does it perform ? My aftermarket 2T pipe is easy 30 DBs louder than my stock pipe . Straight pipe you may be in noise violations of your state or county . A Uni with stock exhaust can bottle the flow as a Uni will have more flow and be louder than the stock airbox . Make sure you do a plug chop and for me I like to be a hair rich rather than on it or lean to be safe

I hope you installed a larger main jet so you do not burn it up by being too lean . A buddy broke off his exhaust and rode it 3 months without rejetting and the exhaust valve tip melted off and ate up the piston and cylinder .
A buddy drilled two holes in the muffler and airbox along with upjetting and it had a great deep tone .
My Echarm is so quiet I can sneak up on people . In heavy traffic I had a guy yell out asking if it was electric as so many cars drowned out my exhaust sound . I took of the muffler and rode around the block was amazing how much louder it was .
My 2T had a good sound but not annoyingly loud . It now has a BBK , Uni and open exhaust that is so loud I set off car alarms and has made my ears rings . It echoes off of large trucks and buildings . I will have to get a more friendly pipe later .
There used to be a video on You Tube that a guy gutted the baffling and sawed of the nozzle tip and welded on larger tip after welding the muffler back together but it has been removed

Since you have to rebuild why not get a BBK ( larger than 49cc engine kit ) since it will have more power to go up hill and last longer than a 49cc as the extra power it does not have to work as hard and can be tuned along with CVT mods to go faster . I had a TaoTao with a secret 63cc that cracked the piston and the 2nd engine blew up 6 weeks later . I had a mental meltdown as I have had 30 to 40 two wheelers and never once had any piston or engine failure , and I rode them like I stole em as any teen would . When the 2nd engine blew up I joined another scooter site ( my first ) in order to get up to speed on the China scooters as I was used to Japan and European quality and the China scooters are nothing close in quality . Well I was suggested an Air Sal 50mm or 82cc BBK that is made in Spain rather than China and has ceramic coatings on the piston and inside of cylinder to reduce heat damage like cracking , plus it has an aluminum cylinder instead of iron and uses the stock 40mm or 49cc head . I think you could use a 50 MM head which would have larger valves with more flow and less compression as many use 2 base gaskets since the compression can be high with the small head and also increase clearances . I went to my scooter dealer since it had a 6 month warranty and no way did I want another PO junk recycled pot metal and butter piston kit again , and I mentioned the Air Sal kit I was suggested . Well the scooter gods were smiling on me as he just had got in 2 kits . He sold it to me for his price of 78 according to the invoice which is a deal as I saw it listed for 149 . You can thank MillSC for sharing this link with the kit priced super low www.spi-parts.com/airsal-70cc-cylinder-kit-02350150.html Some have 64 valves other use 69 so measure first
