"The Cheng Shin tires that came on my Echarm had a zig zag wave in the middle that made it have a wobble effect like when going over uneven road surfaces like cracks or patches and get unstable when windy ." Read more: itistheride.boards.net/index.cgi?board=50wc&action=display&thread=1121#ixzz2QLouddXiSluttadawg,....you described it better than I did. Well,..I'm only pushing about 170lbs. and don't ride with passengers. There's many good ideas here, so that will keep me busy this weekend. Tires, I need to order today. Have read its pretty easy to change tires with a good set of tire tools [3]. Thanks guys, I have some homework to do this weekend.

I tends to swerve to the left mostly. Feels like what wind gusts would do. That's the best I can describe.
I am in need of new tires, especially the rear. I'm guessing the bushing you are talking about, John, is inside the wheel hub on the axel. Wouldn't hurt to do both at the same time. Checked out the link you provided....I don't see what I "think" I should be looking for....?

Just over then past couple days, while riding, the bike seems to swerve on its own. Whether at 15mph or 50mph. It won't stay on a straight path, almost like riding in high winds. I thought it was low tire pressure and sure enough, they were very low. But it still has the same feel. Had this same/similar symptom last year. I found a large bolt [photo] above the swing arm that needed attention and tightened it down. Problem solved. Until now. Have checked for loose or missing bolts, front and rear wheels and assemblies. No luck there. Doesn't appear to have any side to side play either.... Open for suggestions. Thanks Problem bolt from last year:

I was thinking the same as Xylon, a vapor lock type of situation. Had the same symptoms over a year ago. Loosened the cap and ran fine. Cured the problem after removing EGR or whatever system I had and turned around an inline valve leading back to the tank. Has been a while. I'd have to get in and look at it to jog my memory.

When I 'm putting mine down, I'll lower the stand to the ground and rock it a bit to make sure it's evenly placed. Then position yourself close to the scoot, place your left foot towards the front. Holding on to left handle and rear rack. At the same time,..lift the back and step down towards the rear with your right foot on the stand. A 120 lb. girl could do it....lol...just takes some practice.....Just don't let go until it's steady on the center stand, or,....oooops Just watch that it doesn't fall away from you.

I general, the GY6 only needs 750ml. . Not even a quart. Just use the side of the bottle, it will show the amount you have put in. Then check your oil level,... add a little more if needed. Just use the rest of the bottle to top-off when needed.
I change/check my oil on the kickstand. Others may have different opinions, including, using the center stand instead... which I would like to hear about what the rest of the Pit Crew does also.

Just a good cheap pair of vice grips from HF works great. Easy to store and makes the hatch adjustable.... No more getting your head bitten off.

They just don't understand scootering is where its at I too hear that once in awhile, (but I love my scooter) but if they try riding a scoot they would know what were talking about, I love motorcycles too, but I can't ever seeing me trading my scoot in for one, I'm having too much fun

Not into Harley's either,...XXtra loud pipes and Ape Hangers. Just me. Now, I do have several customers that ride Harley's, and they're a good group of folk. I even get the wave or "salute" from them while I'm riding, and I return the same. Now the young Crotch Rocket group...many, not all, seem to be show-offs trying to get themselves killed. Scoots are just relaxing.

Just checked it myself...then checked my email. He's out of town for Easter,...will contact me.
Yes we do have a pretty good assortment right now...they've been popping up more since the weather has become more favorable. I still ride year round.
