Just over then past couple days, while riding, the bike seems to swerve on its own. Whether at 15mph or 50mph. It won't stay on a straight path, almost like riding in high winds. I thought it was low tire pressure and sure enough, they were very low. But it still has the same feel. Had this same/similar symptom last year. I found a large bolt [photo] above the swing arm that needed attention and tightened it down. Problem solved. Until now. Have checked for loose or missing bolts, front and rear wheels and assemblies. No luck there. Doesn't appear to have any side to side play either.... Open for suggestions. Thanks Problem bolt from last year:

Winds blow me around even on my Echarm but on my Magnum it is not affected as much with the wider tires . When you feel a gust let up off of the throttle like when a dump truck passes the other way on the road which I also duck to allow the wind to blow over me rather than as much into me

I tends to swerve to the left mostly. Feels like what wind gusts would do. That's the best I can describe.
I am in need of new tires, especially the rear. I'm guessing the bushing you are talking about, John, is inside the wheel hub on the axel. Wouldn't hurt to do both at the same time. Checked out the link you provided....I don't see what I "think" I should be looking for....?

there are rubber bushings in the motor mounts and in the bracket that bolts to the frame you need to check all of them and with the need of tires can also cause this you said the tires where very low check that the bead is setted right on the wheels until you check it out fully i would not ride it

Are you a heavy guy ? I was talking with my scooter dealer as I often visit just to talk scooters , and he told me about a 300 lb guy who only rode his small scooter around college campus and his weight was beyond its limits and the engine and frame bushings needed to be replaced .
Worn tires will make it not ride or handle as good as with new or decent tires . I would replace both even if the front still has some meat on it with a brand name like Pirelli , Michelin , Shinko or Kenda tire as they are worth the extra money . I suggest getting them balanced as it did wonders for my Echarm . Scooters do not come with the tires balanced or I have not seen any done so from the factory , and this is why they bounce and shimmy . The Cheng Shin tires that came on my Echarm had a zig zag wave in the middle that made it have a wobble effect like when going over uneven road surfaces like cracks or patches and get unstable when windy . I replaced both tires with Shinkos with front having a gap in the middle that was a straight line instead of zig zag and wow what a huge improvement . Before if I let a hand off of a gripe it would shake violently where now I can ride at a slow speed with no hands on the gripes . My lil scooter that has wider tires handles much better as the tires are 30mm wider and is so stable I have always been able to ride with no hands even in a curve . The tires on it are not balanced and are street knobbies which ride like an old school minibike .
Ride in a circle then circle back the opposite way and see if there is a diff in how it feels or if its the same .
Stock scooter suspension is often wimpy . I had to tighten up the rebound on the rear springs since it would bounce if I hit a bump while going fast
Any 2 wheeler will get nuts and bolts loose so it is suggested to go over with a wrench prior to riding . Frame and nuts on the wheels an impact driver can tighten them done . My frame nuts have a yellow coating like a thread locker .
Do the tires look evenly worn ? I have seen a few where the rear was worn out more on one side like a bad bearing or bent axle . Does it make any noise like a squeak or scrub ?

It could still be the tires. If you're having these 10" wheels, with big azz 3.5 x 10 tires, and the pressure is lower than 35PSI, in corners, even mine feels a bit unstable
You can also check the frame, for broken welds, check the suspension for inconsistencies (eg: for dual shock rear suspension systems, if one is broken, while the other is functional, it may feel weird when riding over potholes or so)...

Read more: itistheride.boards.net/index.cgi?board=50wc&action=display&thread=1121#ixzz2QLouddXiSluttadawg,....you described it better than I did. Well,..I'm only pushing about 170lbs. and don't ride with passengers. There's many good ideas here, so that will keep me busy this weekend. Tires, I need to order today. Have read its pretty easy to change tires with a good set of tire tools [3]. Thanks guys, I have some homework to do this weekend.

Did you check the head bearings up front?

Front wheel bearings bro. Swerves to the left cuz the initial pressure from the caliper caused premature wear. When you got the wheel off push up on both shocks seperately. Be willing to bet the left ones' softer than the right one.
