Thanks so far guys... I still need to call the tax office about the title transfer...Don't know anything about the process? I've only seen the bike through CL, it's located about 60 miles away and it's Easter Sunday...Still waiting on a call from him. As far as the plastics...I don't detect any damage in the photos... Let's just say the title/MSO works out and plastics are ok...is it doable? If it is,...I want to beat others to the sale.

Found this on CL today. dallas.craigslist.org/sdf/mcy/3711783561.htmlSeems like a good deal for a fixer-upper, maybe to keep and use as performance project. I don't have experience with Shenke scoots...so upgrade parts availability is still a question I'm looking into. Would appreciate any and all comments on "Deal or No Deal" Thanks in advance, Loren

Berryman has been around for a long time....good reputation for quality. I have not used this product,...but bought a can yesterday at Autozone...$4.59+tax
Will add 1oz./gal...per instructions...today, when I fill-up.
Bike is running just fine now. May not be much of a noticeable change, if any, but I'll try it. Have been using Seafoam for the first 5k miles...no problems there.

I've found some deals I'd like to take advantage of. Most of which need some simple repairs,...owners just don't want to mess with them. ie; 2008 Lance 250 Touring, 500 miles, minor tranny casing repair....$500. Good time of year to be in the market for a used bike, CL is a good place to look.

Mine came new with 10 amp. Never a problem. Just lately, the bike has developed a short,... still working on that. But those 10 amp fuses are saving my electrical system nicely. IMHO,...stay with 10 amps or lower.

Cold and cloudy in Dallas...supposed to get back into the 70's next weekend. The weather determines,...whether or whether not to work on the scoot or go for a ride.... Still have to ride to work today,...whether I want to or not...

Are you talking about the manifold or muffler....and what does carbon build-up do to the exhaust ?
The tone of my muffler isn't as low as it was new....would like to have that sound again.
Thanks,
Loren

Really enjoy the new site. Happy to see some familiar Scoots and names.
One thing I'd like to see is all of "our" old data from the old site. I've gone back there just to use the Google search. It would be nice to have it all under one roof again.
Is it possible to transfer that info to the new site? Or, are there plans to add Google search?
What ever could be done to get that information back to the people that created it.

Did the same with my yellow Nolan helmet a couple weeks ago. Went to Ulta Cosmetics,...found almost the exact color to match my helmet and the bike,,,,$4.00. Quick, cheap fix and barely noticeable, and that's only because I know. Nobody else has even noticed a nick or small scratch on the helmet...the bike doesn't have any. I was the only guy in there,... except the cashier. I went in,... found the color, paid and left quickly.....it's a guy thing.

I just check my basics weekly and rregular maint.....Runs and rides so well, haven't had to work on it for almost a year now.
Although, with the weather warming up, I do have a small issue...

Iv'e been to one motorcyle/scooter tire website ,...where you could enter your current size and size you're looking for. Then it gives you a graphical comparison of the two.
But it's been a while since I've been there and I don't recall. Some of the older SD members may know and I would like to. Im on the lookout for tires myself .
