Found this on CL today. dallas.craigslist.org/sdf/mcy/3711783561.htmlSeems like a good deal for a fixer-upper, maybe to keep and use as performance project. I don't have experience with Shenke scoots...so upgrade parts availability is still a question I'm looking into. Would appreciate any and all comments on "Deal or No Deal" Thanks in advance, Loren

No title is a parts bike or maybe stolen as well as a hassle to register . I would only buy with a title or MSO . Shenke makes Jonway

Thanks so far guys... I still need to call the tax office about the title transfer...Don't know anything about the process? I've only seen the bike through CL, it's located about 60 miles away and it's Easter Sunday...Still waiting on a call from him. As far as the plastics...I don't detect any damage in the photos... Let's just say the title/MSO works out and plastics are ok...is it doable? If it is,...I want to beat others to the sale.

In Sc you can apply for a lost title at the DMV and buy one unless it has a lien or stolen

I see your area is very full of chinese scooters .

Thanks Terrilee...
Just checked it myself...then checked my email. He's out of town for Easter,...will contact me.
Yes we do have a pretty good assortment right now...they've been popping up more since the weather has become more favorable. I still ride year round.

when I bought my scooter, it turned out the seller wasn't the owner according to the title, and I couldn't locate the previous owner, which DPS showed to be the owner. I got it titled, but it cost about an additional $100 to go through getting a bonded title after several trips between the tax assessors' office and the DPS office to sort out what I needed then to get it all done in the order required.
