It's much less messy if you use the oil plug on the other side of the engine. Warm the engine up, easier to drain the oil out. Place it on the side stand, place a bucket under the plug and remove it. Let all oil drain out and replace the plug. Remove and clean the "oil filter" on the other side and then replace it. Fill up with 0,75L new oil.

If the engine backfires on deceleration it's normaly one of the following: Leakage between the cylinder and exhaust pipe or silencer. Pilot jet is too small

I have the Eccotrons EFI-kit on my GY6 engine The system works great, easy to tune. The support from Matt is great!

I got a new cylinder head to my engine today. 30 mm intake valve and 26 mm exhaust valve and larger ports also. IMO the exhaust port is a bit to big. It's 28mm... We always want a little backpressure on the exhaust side, if we don't have it some of the fuelmixture in the cylinder can be blown out during the overlap. Will mount it soon and we'll see how it perform...

The pump is manual and is only ment to give you a little extra squirt of fuel upon accelleration. WOT doesn't = accelleration. Running lean at WOT has nothing to do with the acc. pump. If you run lean you should change the main jet.

That hose should connect to the backside of the air filter box.

The air circulates round the engine under the plastic covers. There's also a a lot of air coming from the vent/cooling tube from the cover on the other side of the carb.

Here's the lift (in mm) of the original cam and an A8 cam on a 125 cc. I think it's the same cams for 150cc

It's the pink wire coming from the CVT cover they disconnect and that pink wire should go to the CDI. Could be better with a hidden switch on that pink wire instead of cutting it. That way it's quick and easy to get the restriction back if officers in blue wants to inspect it...
