with my 03 monskito 50cc they say taking out this pink wire gets rid of the governor, well when i do take it off idle goes higher but my headlight turns off no horn, how can i keep it dissengaged and get the light running Attachments:

That is NOT YOUR CDI, Take a picture of your CDI those look like they are either coming from your STATOR or R/R. So do not mess with those wires. Alleyoop

It's the pink wire coming from the CVT cover they disconnect and that pink wire should go to the CDI. Could be better with a hidden switch on that pink wire instead of cutting it. That way it's quick and easy to get the restriction back if officers in blue wants to inspect it...

The pink wire is for Adley scooters . I bought the blue finned racing CDI and it did not remove the RPM restriction as its the exhaust port is not fully open like it is on a BBK and the stock exhaust is restricted too . My CDI is the 5 pin type under the seat bucket on the right side . Do not cut wires .
