Also is the drainage plug on the 150cc in the same place as the drainage plug on the 150cc?. I heard one was a oil filter plug and one was a drainage plug. couldn't you use either to drain the oil?. Thanks.
Btw I have heard that there is rear gear oil aswell. I drove my 50cc scooter 10 thousand miles and never changed it or even messed with it. Is this necessary to ever change?. Thanks again.

Hi This shows engine oil gear oil and many other things that should be done to a scoot for a long life x1scooters.com/pdi.htmlAnd its not so much changing the gear oil but making sure that you have enough in the gearbox, running the gears dry can lead to damaged or seized gears Take care and ride safely Yours Hank

Yeah, never changing oil can seriously mess up your engine. That being said, I've known a girl who hadn't done any maintenance to her original Honda scooter for many years. The oil was a black smudge, the thing always overheated, but survived many many years, and many miles.
That being said, should she have done proper pdi, her scooter would have lasted her much longer (perhaps upto 5 or 10x longer)
On my 150, a quart oil jar is a tad too much (takes just a little less).

It's much less messy if you use the oil plug on the other side of the engine. Warm the engine up, easier to drain the oil out. Place it on the side stand, place a bucket under the plug and remove it. Let all oil drain out and replace the plug. Remove and clean the "oil filter" on the other side and then replace it. Fill up with 0,75L new oil.

Also please note. This question is not regarding gear oil. That was just also something I was wondering. What i want to know is how much engine oil does this need?. Thanks.

You should fill it on the centerstand till the dipstick indicates it's full. A little less than a quart depending on the completeness of your draining...

It really dosent matter where you drain the oil from. As long as you dont drain the oil using the filter plug while its on the regular side kick stand. I always drain from both just to ensure a full drain. Also some scoots measure different at on the dipstick. This has to do with some 150s come with a longer dipstick. My stock engine came with a dipstick that is about 1/4 inch longer than my new engine.
