Me guessing Jim will still help with any questions and parts. He's retired AF, and was trained to respect all customers.

As previously mentioned, Polaris is well established and makes quality products. The Victory line is doing splendidly, and I expect the Indian line up to be of the same high quality. I am seriously falling off the wall to get one. I'll figure out how to ride it later. Now THAT'S the American spirit! Way to go! And that is one sweet-looking trike you have there too! Leo in Texas Old Guy Yea, I really like the Scout. It's lighter than my 1100 shadow sabre and twice the hp (100 vs 54) And as most of my riding is around town, the 3.3 gal is fine. I just gotta learn to trust my leg to hold up to the weight when stopping (shifting can be worked out) My trike is great for errands and evening cruizes around my self imposed loop (35 mile loop around the city on major roads, not the hiway) Life is good Dave

1. Thank You for your dedication and service to our country 2. Nice scoot (for a 2 wheeler) 3. Stay safe over there, if they'll kill a General, they'll kill anyone (unless we kill them first)

When my sight glass broke, i just took a short bolt, 2 washers and a nut, and some JB Weld. Put washer on bolt, place bolt inside of master cylinder/eye glass hole with threaded end sticking out the cylinder. put on other washer and nut, tightened down. (the JB Weld was used between the washer and the cylinder to create a leak proof seal.) cost 0.00 (had em in my tool box) Besides, who needs a sight glass In this case, it was function over form

I totally understand some peoples emphasis on the cost comparison in fuel savings, tyres, ins, etc, but, I got my scooter/trike for the total purpose of having fun, enjoying the ride, getting my knee in the wind, and don't factor in the difference of cost as compared to fun. You can't put a price on the enjoyment of riding (be it a scooter, sport, cruizer, tourer). The cost is well worth the feeling of freedom, both scooting down the road, and waking up every day, a free person, thanx to those who serve our (and your) country. May God bless and protect every man and woman who have served, who are serving and who will serve, in protecting our country and our freedom.

The 300 is a nice car. Enjoy the luxury and being a full time employed tax payer, supporting those too lazy to get a job. I enjoy my new Avalon and riding the scoot on weekends Soon to become one of the retired

Upgrading to diff sliders, cdi, etc is all good, for a couple mph. The obvious to me is, get a bigger scooter.

You should replace the exhaust crush gasket each time u remove the exh pipe. and, yes, time for an entire new exhaust system.
