That was awhile back, I found that when I blew the first one it slightly bent the piston rod and therefore every top end I put on after blew pretty quick , lol. I replace the whole top end everytime , just not the crankshaft. I got the 232cc started up , I just have to do a few small things and I can take it for a ride. I even blew a 180cc not long at the end of last season. I put a damn crankcase breather tube on and at the dipstick and blew every drop of oil out and burned the rings up, lol. It was running really good too. Def never use that breather for riding only short racing , lol.

I did contact them and they said they use that head for the 67mm builds. Doesn't seem right to me but whatever. I did get the valve cover to fit, must have been my dumbness there but I had to use extra washers to get the nut to tighten down . The head def says for use with 63mm and it has 18cc which I guess stands for 180cc . So obviously it's used with the 180cc build , so no idea , why not use a 67mm with the 67mm build ?

I ordered a kit from drowsports it is the $1700 b case 232cc kit. I ran into an issue . The stroker and top end are suppose to fit without a spacer but it seems as if the cylinder studs are too long . No only do I have to use extra washers to tighten the head nuts down , but the valve cover will not fit onto the head because the studs stick out too far . I would think I would need a spacer but the timing chain is perfect length , not loose at all. I'm suspecting either wrong studs were sent or the head is somehow not the right one. I say that because the head says 63mm , not 67mm. I'll post a pic

How's everyone doing ? It's been years since the last post on this thread and I will do what I think is a deserved update. My dad is still going good he fought bladder cancer and just has to keep having scans and tests done now and then. My gf/wife Christy Harper passed away in Dec of 2018 at 33yrs old due to the masses that kept coming back in her brain.my daughter Victoria is 14 yrs old and her heart is still doing good . I have a new addition to the family , George E Huseman the 3rd and he will be 4yrs old in November .
I know not many ppl are still here on the site that was back then , but I figured I'd post

While running at high speeds o the interstate I blew my Taida drive face apart. It was a shock and now I'm stuck using a stock variator . I'll post pics

I used a crank case breather at the oil dipstick port and lost % of my oil. It makes me sick bc it was running so good and I just had to push it and try new things. I burned up the piston rings and now I had to install a small 58.5 bbki had for backup. The 63mm bbk had so much power compared to the 58.5 , and it's just really hard to even run it like this . I'm going to order another 63mm kit but I just have to wait a little while toget the few extra $$. I still have the 18 36 gears in so it's hard to get those things spinning with the smaller kit. I'm at least going to reinstall my A9 cam that I had put away while I was running the 63mm kit . I was using the cam that cam with the roller rocker arms , I'm not sure what size cam it is but the lobes are alot shorter. The a9 will at least give me more powerfor now and hopefully satisfy me for the time being. I took the scoot on the interstate last week and topped out around. 73mph which was not bad , but compared to 96mph , it was def slow. Those speeds are of course on a slight decline but I can usually hold whatever speed I hit on a decline until I start hitting an incline. Also I was only able to top out at 7,000 rpms. I was at 7500 rpms when I hit 96 with the 63mm kit. I have 14 inch rims and running the tall 18:36 final drive gears , so that is a very big determination to take into account when considering the possibility of hitting those speeds.

Well , I take chances on the interstate riding as close to cars and trucks , mostly the big semi's so I can negate wind resistance on the scooter. This allows for much higher speeds and less gas consumption. I had a car hit its brakes on me at about 80+ mph and I missed the rear bumper by about an inch or 2 . Yes its dumb to ride like this , however these ppl don't realize that bc I'm on a scooter , hitting the pavement at that speed would have been almost certain death. Needless to say I was instantly enraged . I grabbed a lighter from the compartment and did my best to catch this prick .I was gaining at one point and was going to get infront of him and toss the lighter back at his car, but I "luckily" was unable to catch him. I got home and looked at my max speed on the GPS and it read "96 mph" . I've never had my GPS speedo glitch and read an incorrect speed , so now I need to see if I can hit that speed again. Was it my rage in feeling the need to catch this car that helped hit this speed? I was at 7500 rpms all out for miles trying to catch him , so did I really hit this speed ? My max up until that point was 83 mph at around 7100 rpms , so did the extra 400 rpms propell me to that speed ?

Does the scoot stall if you stop the back wheel from spinning ?
