Just I stalled this tach. My scoot didn't have one and it's a necessity to have a tach if u want to tune the cvt .

I never use the vacuum peacock. I always replace it with a manual shutoff valve

Looks like ur air fuel needs drilled out. It's usually the smaller hole above the one u messed with.

The 30mm carbs I ordered for my 150cc scoot used jets in which I was not able to replace the main jet with any of the other jets I have. The thread size and the jet itself was smaller , to the point that u could not get any of the other jets to even screw in at all.ill have to take a look at the pilot that's in them. I forget if the size itself was smaller or not.

A 30mm carb being sold by JFG RACING on eBay is a total waste of cash !! It's a CVK carb that comes with a 118 main jet and I think it was a 43 pilot jet. The 118 main jet and jet tube are not made to fit the regular 150cc type cvk carbs . They are made for the smaller carbs that are made for the smaller 50cc carbs. This means they are unable to easily tune your scoot If u need a larger main jet. I haven't been able to find a jet larger then 118 that will fit the jet tube. It was so frustrating. I took the jet tube from a 26mm cvk I have and the jet tube did screw into the carb , however the tube is too short . I bought 2 of these carbs when I ordered them and it was such a headache. I finally decided to look for another 30mm carb and found the same type I had years ago on my first scoot. It was from gy6racingteam on eBay. I paid about double the price , but I'd rather pay $100 for a good carb that works . It was sold as an Oko cvk carb .

The first scoot I had was a 150cc with a lot of mods and I sold it after putting over 25,000 miles on it. I sold it because I really needed cash at the time. I used nothing but the RP Max Cycle.id never switch to another brand.

The Max Cycle runs about $17 a quart in most auto parts stores.

Anyone else see that the GY6store on eBay is trying to sell certain GY6 high performance parts for $1,000? They are obviously putting them on eBay at that price so that they possibly may get lucky and find someone that really doesn't know what they should be selling for.The Taida clutch and varitor I ordered came separate from each other and I paid not much over $200 for both 2gether . I understand it's the person's fault who ends up paying that much. At the same time the GY6store is taking advantage and ripping people off who don't know any better. I'll post a few screenshots I will be eBay items going for that price on their eBay site.

The main reason I go with the egr cast head is because the plastic air shroud is made to go around an egg head.
