I use Seafoam every 3rd tankful. A cap or so each time. Do you gys recommend every tankfull of less often than every third?

Seafoam...I just pour an once or so at each fill-up. Just a good guesstimate works for me...7700 mis. and still running strong.

I use a shot glass full every fill up. So far so good!

Read the can and follow the directions there. I don't think a cap full will be enough to do anything but waste a cap full of Seafoam. The shot glass or rather 1 oz per gallon is what I think is recommended for maintenance. More for cleaning...

Yes, Seafoam is what I use too. I add a little Seafoam to every other tank of gas.

That would more likely need to be 3 or 4 capfulls per gallon of tank capacity every 3rd of 4th fill-up.
Based on your tank capacity first determine how many ounces of fuel treatment at 1 ounce per gallon of tank capacity you will need to treat a full tank of gas and then start putting capfulls of Seafoam into a measuring cup until it has the required amount to treat your fuel and if it is reasonable the just start putting that amount of capfulls every 4th fillup and if it is not reasonable then just keep a measure available to pour out the correct dosage of treatment into instead.

What are the reasons to use Seafoam so often? I have a can around here somewhere that I used during troubleshooting, and over the winter. Just wondering what your reasons are.

Supposedly cleans the fuel system. I don't use it except on tanks that have been sitting or are new to me and dose about 2-3 oz per gallon once or twice then I'm done. Might use occasional Marvel Mystery Oil but Seafoam only for cleaning

I use it every few fill ups to keep the fuel system clean. Seems to work . I havent any fuel problems thus far.

I use it in almost every tank fill up.
In the 3 years ive had the scooter im now rideing, ive never seen the inside of the carb.
It does help with the ethanol as well.

I only use it to when I store a bike or its going to sit. I also changed to Startron a while back in the boats and now use it in the scoots because I have it on hand. Works great.
Ethanol has never been a problem either. The fuel never sits long enough for phase-separation to be an issue. I burn a tank every day or two but I have scoots that are five years old that have never seen additives and had no ill effects.
Whatever works for you go for it.
