Yea, and I swapped all of my bulbs for low wattage LEDs, so I would assume that the draw is much lower too.
Do I just get a DC USB charger and cut the wires?

I have my scooter where I want it now, however the next minor mod before I attempt a bbk:
I would like to install/mount a USB charger somewhere on my scooter.
Is there a barebones kit that I can attach to my battery or something?
It would be ok to be DC fired, aka only enabled when the engine is on.
I don't want to go as big as a 12v cigarette lighter adapter, just a minimal USB slot, maybe in the glove box, but I wouldn't be completely against it if you can convince me.
As usual, thanks in advance!

You got to upjet a size, and then put the uni airfilter in. When I did that, I lost performance. It was the # with the uni from Scrappydogs

Ok, so it's been a bit since I've been able to work on my scoot. I put the tube line back into the stock airbox (it was zip-tied to the frame after installing the Uni-style filter), and put the smaller inner snorkle back into the stock airbox. When I went for a drive, I got a lot of sputtering, and it was backfiring I think, lots of shaking at WOT. I brought it home and swapped the MJ for an , and it ran beautifully! Nice, smooth vibrations, getting the high RPM desired, accelerating up to 40/45 mph steadily. Also, there's some nice power, it doesn't slow down when climbing slight grade hills, and actually moves up in speed! I really like this configuration. It was at night, and after a rain, so I will need to test again today in the middle of the heat. If it does worse, I might try putting the outer snorkle back onto the stock airbox too. I doubt I have to downjet anymore at this point.

Apparently, it takes 30 days for the Krylon Fusion to cure, and I live in nice and humid Central Florida. I don't think it would have been an issue if the paint wasn't so fresh.

Thanks! I really love the matte black look.
The cup holder was a plastic kind from Walmart to hook onto a car's door side or something. I snapped off the hook and used a self-tapping screw into the plastic cover. The cup holder has a space that allows a screwdriver to open the cover, and the battery door. I also used some double-sided foam tape to prevent it from swinging. It works out pretty well!

Why does Scrappydog sell the prejetted carb with the Uni-style filter??? Maybe I will go back to the that it came with, since that's what they paired onto that carb, but the stock airbox is definitely where it's at!

millsc, you are a genius!
I put the stock airbox back on, removed the outer and inner snorkle, and I'm running so nice now!
